Our family spent a week before Xmas and had a great experience. Our host was friendly, super hospitable and even gave the kids a little Xmas present on our departure. Rooms are typically tyrolean, exceptionally clean with everything one needs. Breakfast was great, and service was always with a smile. The location is PERFECT for ski school, especially if you have little ones - out the door, over the road, and a 30m walk to ski school. Thanks family Pixner for an amazing stay, we`ll definitely be back.

Great Place!

My two children (aged 9 and 7) stayed here for a week in a triple room for 1 week during a skiing holiday.

The room was spacious and well equipped and very clean (refreshed each day). Excellent warm shower to heat up off the slopes and a lovely sun facing balcony to catch some rays.

Breakfast each day is a big buffet with a wide range of fresh options to meet all tastes.

The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - assisting me with various needs and also being very warm towards the kids.

Also a great location for skiing with a short walk to ski rental shops, ski school and the ski lifts. Couple of nice family restaurants close by too for easy evening eating.

Overall a perfect stay.

Wonderful Stay

Martinshof is directly on the local bus route (and at a stop), directly across the street from a lift that will get you started up the mountain. Family was very helpful and gracious. Not far from several restaurants for dinner. Breakfast was included and provides what you need, unless you are looking for morning omelets with bacon). We had a "superior" room - which meant it was slightly larger and faced both the mountain and town and had a balconey.

Great Location, Friendly, Family run place - near lifts and ski school

This was our third visit to Pension Martinshof in Obergurgl. The pension is located opposite one of the ski school areas, the ski rental shop is directly opposite and so is the local ski bus stop. We were given very comfortable room on the first floor with brand new bathroom and balcony. There is a lift in the pension, ski room, sauna and breakfast room. The breakfast was served from 8 o'clock offering choice of fruit, cereals, yoghurt, cold cuts, egg, variety of bread and hot and cold drinks. Overall the pension is very well run by family Pixner, clean and comfortable place to stay. 


Ski break

I stayed here this month for 4 nights with my husband and 2 children.I can't praise the place enough-it was amazing especially the price!!.The family are so friendly and helpful.The rooms are spotless and very up to date.The breakfast is great.Obergurgl is expensive in general but this place is the exception and still provides a great place to stay and so central.We certainly will go back!D.

Amazing!!

Great little place with tasty breakfast and simple, but comfy rooms.  Wish it had a bar in the evenings, but Haus Gurgl across the road has one.  Run by a friendly family and free parking.  The door to the bathroom bashed on the toilet which was annoying, but it really was great value for money.
