When I arrived, the reception was empty, my key code was forgotten, I had to wait 30 minutes until someone came to let me into the room. Rooms in the courtyard were crowded there until 3 o'clock in the night, noisy drunkards, at 7 o'clock in the morning the breakfast bowl clappered there while preparing breakfast. Every night I slept a maximum of 2-3 hours, was here to do intense water sports, before fatigue was hardly possible. For breakfast I would have needed at least strong coffee, but this is one of the hotels left behind in his time that only offer weak, intolerable filter coffee. There is no espresso.

No sleep is possible

Whoever operates this cabin has no idea how to really be a host or is deliberately taking off. Abused, dirty, underground renovated (if at all) and everything at least 40 years old. A bike depot with a charging station was promised - we found an open yard without electricity in a distant house. W-Lan is announced - only works at the reception. I save you the photos of this house (documented). For me personally: a shame for the beautiful Burgenland...

It's a remarkable attribute.

...like hotels or guesthouses with such little comfort and in the style of the 1970s and never renovated since then, we still find guests who then pay for a DZ 109, - Euro! We paid because otherwise there was nothing free in Podersdorf. We certainly never come back. The so-called DZ is so small that we could not open or leave our two suitcases.

I can't believe this.

It was too expensive for the performance. The breakfast was very good, although the refilling of the coffee machine was still to be improved. The machine is undersized with good use. The old rooms are clean but not up to date. We had two bathrooms in the room but these were from decades ago. No mixing and tubes partly too long, exhaust pipe made of cheap plastic. The size was good but also the couch in the room was out of balance and dirty. Wellness area is small but very clean and tidy. Sauna needs to be turned on a moment before saunagang. Beautiful view of the lake. Staff at the reception and not unreasonably pleased.

Recommended moderately

After the rather negative reviews here, I'm afraid it's bad enough. Actually, for the price it's really good, the rooms are spacious and not very modern but practical enough except for the bathroom, the bathroom would probably really need to be renovated. Breakfast was fine, it was largely quiet and the location - well, it's cheap, so you just go to the lake for 15 minutes, for that, the entrance to the pool is included and you can borrow free chairs and bath towels at the sea hotel.

Better than expected

Very old house, no bicycle accommodation in the hotel, very noisy in the courtyard day and night occupied by people who do not speak German, possibly accommodating foreign workers! Never again!

Unreasonable

Cheaper branch of the Hotel Herlinde by the lake, making it a little further away and easier, whoever knows, will be satisfied. Reception very friendly, with welcome drinks. Large rooms with balcony and view. Bathroom very small. WC extra. Breakfast surprisingly generous.

A beautiful place right on the lake - super friendly service - and the appealing served dinner - a treat. The best fish soup in Podersdorf!
Weir were only there to eat - I can not judge the hotel, but everything looks very nice and clean.

Delicious

Horrible, unfriendly staff, they drunk and shouted on the guest terrace. The privat terrace is extremely small. The staff  throwed our vanity bag from the bathroom, probably by chance, and didn't compansate .

bad experience

We've been to this hotel many times, the new rooms are very nice, but the surroundings are not very pleasant! On the first day we stayed at the lake longer due to the wonderful weather, just that we had dinner at 8:30 p.m. All around us the tables were already set up and we were the only ones who had eaten! The waiter was apparently not pleased with our dinner, because a fotz! The bar in the evening is extremely unlucky, not only that the bar bar bar bar bar bar bar bar bar bar bar bar bar bar bar bar bar bar bar bar bar bar is barely talking, but there is also almost no drinks table! The food is on and for very good and sufficient. Despite the weekend price of 800 euros, although it is naturally on the lake, but there is something to be done to make the hotel attractive.
