2 nights in the DZ, very clean and well equipped. Breakfast buffet selection far richer than expected, everything the heart desires and definitely above the standard of a youth sports hotel. very modern indoor swimming pool and beautiful sauna landscape, great location, good price-performance ratio - absolutely recommended!

I'm all for it!

Very poor quality food. Facilities not available till after lunch so forget it if you want a morning swim let alone use the steam room. Rooms were not cleaned till 4 days after arrival then not to a good standard. Very small and dirty rooms. No facilities around the hotel. Food was that bad we ate out three nights of our stay. 

Avoid, meals terrible 

The room was great! The sauna area and the hall bath were great. Also the rooms are fine, some of them were nice family rooms and on the other side they were just Schulandheim like rooms. The breakfast and dinner was just hammer. Very much choice and very tasty. The big drawback was the camera in the spa area. The service force was very unfriendly and made us very stupid at night (7!)

This hostel is conveniently located within walking distance of the radstadt ski lift and has areas for both boot and ski storage. It has nice views all round. I Stayed here with my friends and the rooms were small and pretty basic, nothing special. Wifi barely worked for the majority of the time. Breakfast was a buffet but the food was very cheap and didn't taste great, hot chocolate was nice though. Dinner was traditional Austrian food for the most part which was good. It's a nice enough place to stay but I'm sure there are much nicer places in the area.

Average

We decided to rent a swimming pool because it offers wonderful opportunities for children compared to the other hotels in the area. Children move independently on trampolines, gardens, playgrounds or climbing walls. The new swimming pool completes all children's dreams. For adults, the hotel offers pleasant double rooms and a great sauna landscape. The staff and service are very convenient. The quality of the food is at canteen level.

Very quiet hotel

I visited the hostel in February. It is close to the Radstadt lifts, which is convenient.

The rooms are ok-. Beds are too short and the mattresses are way too soft for an adult. 

The sauna/swimming pool/ spa area is really nice, but the sauna shuts down when the chef needs more electricity in the kitchen (?). 

Opening hours for the spa is 4-10pm, which isn't very guest friendly. 

The area is really nice and bus connections to better ski resorts are great.

The one thing that was really bad, and made a huge impact on our stay, was the staff. They were extremely unfriendly and at certain times rude. They didn't make any effort to help you out at all. The check in time is at 5 pm, checkout at 9. No late checkouts!! A couple of the guys that we were traveling with, had to change rooms (at the hostels request). They had to check out of the room they had been in for four days at 9.30, and didn't get a new room until 5 pm. 

Every time we requested anything, like coffee, sauna, laundry etc, they hardly bothered looking at us, and a positive response was never given. I don't think I saw any of the staff smiling once. 

The staff hardly speaks any English, which is normal in Austria. But this would not be a problem if they at least tried to communicate, in any language or sign language even. 

I might go back to the ski Amade area, but I will not be staying at the hostel ever again.
