I visited this fantastic guest house with a group of friends and stayed for 4 nights. Ali and Denise are superb hosts and welcomed us warmly when we arrived on our motorbikes quite late after long trip; we were able to garage our bikes as well which was great. The location and views are simply stunning, and the accommodation itself is spotless, inviting and very comfortable. Breakfast was typically Austrian and very good, and there is also a well stocked fridge - ideal for a much needed beer after a day out. There are a few restaurants about a mile away, and the walk back up the hill must be good for you, although I’m not sure it felt like that after a good meal. 
Ali and Denise know the area intimately and can offer excellent suggestions for day trips in the local area or further afield. I would happily stay here again and can wholeheartedly recommend this fine B&B.

Fabulous !

We stayed for 4 nights in this amazing location, visa of mountains to the front and back. Accommodation was clean and inviting, with fab coffee and boiled eggs for breakfast! Hosts Ali & Denise were kind, helpful and attentive with plenty of knowledge of the local area. There are restaurants and shops within a 15 minute walk or take a longer walk across the meadows with more amazing views. Would highly recommend staying here, we will definitely be back!

Fab stay in a beautiful location!

It was our first time in the Alps and we are very grateful for staying in Pension Haus Maria. The accomodation in english style, familiar, clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious! We appreciate that it was near to the bus station and the location was in general great. Also we got the summer card - so all means of public transport and all the lifts were for free. And what was the best? The owners! They were very friendly, helpful, everytime there for us, gave us many tips, inform us about the weather…We could see they love their job and that they care about their customers during the visit too!

First holiday in the Alps

I've stayed with Ali and Denise two times now and my buddies and I are going there again this year. Their rooms are very clean and comfortable. They are very welcoming to their guest and they serve a killer breakfast. So is so many great things to do in and around Ramsau that every time I go there, I leave with a heavy heart because I didn't get a chance to do everything I wanted. 

They are number one for a reason

The hosts Alistair and Denise are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble, from special diets, dinner reservations, skiing extras. Their local knowledge is invaluable.
The rooms are light airy and comfortable. We have visited both summer and winter.

Another superb holiday

We stayed with Ali and Denise again, as usual we had a brilliant week, Ali took us sledging which was great fun, they advised us on other places to eat and gave us advice on weather conditions etc. We are missing the hearty breakfasts that Denise provided! It's a home from home, cozy and can relax and do your own thing, we will be back next year,  thanks again.

Another great visit

Lovely place. Quite location with wonderful views. Lots to do on the doorstep. Friendly and very helpful staff. Big thanks to Ali for all his help and advice.

Ideal location to relax or explore further afield.

We have stayed before with Ali and Denise who are most excellent hosts with a vast knowledge of the area for all activities. This was our first visit post Covid and will not be the last.
Ali took us to the Dachstein Glacier making use of the summer card and also to the mountain go karts, an experience not to be missed. Local resturants are very good, booking for the Italian is essential.

I stayed here with a small group of friends for 5 nights. The accommodation and facilities are fantastic. Very comfortable, clean and modern. Wonderful views from the balcony of the mountains and some great hiking routes on the doorstep.
Ali and Denise were brilliant hosts. Always available but never intrusive. Very knowledgable about the area and able to give great advice for days out.
We enjoyed a trip to the Dachstein glacier and also a fun afternoon on the mountain go-carts.
There were plenty of good quality restaurants in the immediate area and the breakfast served up by Ali and Denise was first class.
I’ll definitely be returning.
