A simple, older, but very cozy mountain hotel. Food is good, varied and more than enough. Rooms are simple but clean and each with a balcony. The staff is polite and unobtrusive. The hotel owner personally takes very friendly and attentive care of his guests. The location and view are wonderful. Beautiful hiking routes around. Absolutely great price-performance ratio.

Very cozy mountain hotel

The mountain hotel is a bit old, but it has everything you need. The unusual atmosphere makes this place unique. The location is great for day trips, skiing and skating. The food is great. In the morning there is something for every taste. In the evening there is usually a delicious soup and afterwards something hearty, everything always very, very delicious. Thank you to the hotel team.

Comfortable and Family

The hotel is not exactly modern, the rooms were clean and the sleeping was fine. The skiing location is excellent and also very nice. The access to the hotel is very difficult (snow chains) The breakfast was small and good, the dinner could have been more..

Perfect location, drive is okay.

The location of the hotel is top. Hiking trails, cozy cabins, cable car to the glacier, top views - everything is nearby and good to go. The hotel is clean, the staff is nice. The food and breakfast for the price is absolutely fine. A star rating for the small renovations that would make the hotel look just as different. But: after a complete renovation, the price would probably be twice as high. So from us three - thank you very much.

Class for price

For about 35€/all inclusive you probably can't expect much more... but something is missing here very clearly: love. Here everything works together like you don't have a bowl. Cleanliness ok. Otherwise totally in need of renovation. And by God, the hotel has a mighty potential! Food ok. At night everyone gets the same. Without asking beforehand if you have any intolerance or allergies. The situation is of course unbeatable. View to all sides top. You are right at the gondola station! Shame, that could be much better (without effort)

You only pay for the view here.

The family-run mountain hotel is located less than five minutes' walk from the Dachstein Valley Railway Station. The facilities are very simple, but it was always clean and we always felt comfortable. The food was certainly not the crumb, but for the price was more than fine. The staff were relatively friendly and the senior manager always had a suitable tip for the next trip. All in all, the accommodation is perfect for nature lovers who have no luxury claims and just want to see and experience for a little money.

Class price-performance ratio in a dream situation

Very old hotel, which has the character of a large cabin rather than a hotel. The premises are old and inhabited, but quite clean. Rooms would tolerate a renovation well. Good breakfast and very good dinner (it was always possible to follow).
