Very good location in a quite place, just next to the lifts and slopes. The apartment was newly renovated, clean and well equipped. Comfortable bed. Kind and helpful owners. We just felt good there. We can really rekommend this place. We want to come back.

Good location and kind owners

We had a wonderful vacation in a great accommodation and with very nice tenants. We are very happy to come back, perhaps as early as next year. We also very much recommend the rooftop view of the apartments.

It's all right.

Everything was just perfect.
Nice landlords, cleanliness, modern equipment of the apartments, ski lifts right across the street. There is a beautiful view on the mountains. We will definitely come back.
The hotel is dog friendly.

Super skiing holiday

The apartment has a great room (apartment C), great views, very clean and well maintained. The landlords are super nice to be on the scene immediately when you have questions and make a great effort to provide a perfect stay. Bread service 1a. Even with a towel. In the basement the kids are not bored with billiards, kicks and table plates and there is even a sauna. The apartment is perfectly located for winter sports, just across the street and you can already go. Ski rental, ski school and a small grocery store are within 1 minute walk, as well as restaurants. All in all you can do is make a very good and very relaxing holiday there!

Nice place and super nice landlord

We've had a great time here. There's nothing missing. It's also great that the Schladming card is included. You can save a lot of money there. The only thing a little negative is the bus connection directly to Schladming. But the host can't do anything about it.

Super host

This is an excellent place to stay in a great location with unbelievable views. The apartment itself was fabulous. There was heaps of space with loads of room to spread out. (I am certain it is bigger than the 45 square metres quoted on the website.) The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Our bed was good as was our son’s sofa-bed in the living room. The pics on the website don't do the apartment justice because although the decor is a bit neutral, it has a wonderful feel about it. It's extremely comfortable. I felt very much at home and was happy to plant myself there for a week. 

In fact, I can’t rave about the apartment enough. I should also mention that it was very clean with a good bathroom and separate toilet. My husband and I were in Rohrmoos with our son in the middle of December 2009 in a one bedroom apartment.

Then there are the views. Sigh. I couldn’t believe the views… Our living room looked out across the beginner’s ski area to the mountains and then to the Dachstein Glacier beyond. Absolutely amazing. The bedroom looked out onto Schladming so one evening we watched their fireworks.

The location is not just good. It’s excellent. The taxi ride from Schladming was 10-12 Euro. Rohrmoos is a very pretty village, much nicer than Schladming. The apartment is immediately across the road from the beginner’s ski area (though the official ski season hadn’t started when we were there). It’s diagonally across the road from Tritscher for ski rentals, and ski lift tickets can be purchased next door to that. In the proper ski season, you can ski back to the apartment (and then cross the road) at the end of the day but we couldn't do that because the ski lifts hadn't all opened yet. A friendly little supermarket and cafes and superb restaurants are all only a few minutes walk away. The food in Rohroos is spectacular.

The apartment was unbeatable value for 70 Euro per night plus a one-off 26 Euro cleaning fee. I think it is 98 Euro during peak winter season.

The apartment, Rohrmoos and the friendliness of the people exceeded our expectations. To us, this place looked and felt like fairyland. Everywhere we went, people said hello and talked to us. The staff at Tritscher were fabulous and we felt like royalty being driven to nearby ski areas for our lessons. (The beginners’ slope across the road hadn’t opened yet).

Though there were excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity, we were a tad unlucky one Monday night to find they were all closed. We stopped outside Bernardo’s Restaurant and asked for help. The owner went inside to make a phone call, then drove us in his car to a neighbouring restaurant (a rival business). Having booked a table for us, we were greeted as Wolfgang’s friends. How’s that for hospitality and friendliness!
