We were very well received. The placel has a great location with lots of possibilities all around and yet in a quiet area. You can park behind the placel. The rooms are very clean and spacious and have a huge terrace overlooking the mountains. The breakfast and dinner were always very tasty and extra wishes like vegetarian food are also taken into account. The most beautiful are the daily walks of the owners. It's a good time.

Stayed for 6 days in this family run, very nice, quiet hotel in beautiful surroundings. Room 201 was spacious enough for one (travelled solo this time) and was very clean throughout my stay. 
Breakfast buffet was sufficient for a start into a new day. For the three course dinner (halfboard) you could chose between two main meal options - accompanied with a  salad bar and a soup and a desert. The food was very good - thanks to Hans! Drinks are priced very  consumer friendly - liked the Welschriesling from Polz. 
Hans and Manuela were very helpful with tips for hiking tours. 
Free parking behind the building on own parking lot. 
Free wifi was working well throughout the hotel and garden.
I look forward to stay at Das Platzl again!

Relaxing holiday in friendly hotel

The hotel is located in a beautifully quiet location in Rohrmoos in the green with a beautiful rooftop view of the roofstone. Hans and Manuela are very friendly, helpful and entertaining hosts. Both provide an absolute comfort factor. The day starts with a very tasty breakfast, where nothing is lacking. On the breakfast table there is a note with the daystip, weather and views, jokes, Sudoku and not to forget the 2 selectable menus for the 3 nights.

The most beautiful place to walk

We're back in the square for a week in Rohrmoos. We've been coming here for ten years now and we're always happy. Hans and Manuela are great hosts. Here the chef is still cooking himself, and this is at star level. The rooms are clean and cozy. They're sure to come sometime in the summer. Thank you for a nice time and so on. Come back.

Holidays for skiing

It's beautiful in Schladming on the mountain where you can drive directly to the hotel depending on the snow conditions. We were lucky. The couple who run this hotel are so kind and friendly that you feel very comfortable right away. You immediately notice that this operation is run with heart and passion and the well-being of the guests is at the top. For dinner: Breakfast leaves no wishes open to start skiing stronger in winter or then to go hiking in summer or the same. Also in the evening, two menus are offered where everything is cooked fresh and that tastes good too. It was really good and it is also going to the goats. You have an allergy or the same text offered directly. You can read and wish the team how we were able to come back and get back to 100%: ⭐️⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

A wonderful skiing holiday

We stayed with two kids during the christmas week. We had a suite with two bedrooms with nice mountain views, breakfast and dinner included. Both breakfasts and dinners were very good quality and the service was very friendly and fast. The dinner menu was different every night with a vegetarian option available, which we sometimes preferred for the kids. There is a nice sauna. The hotel is just a short walk (5 min, even with kids and ski boots) from the ski school, ski lift and to a few other restaurants, but we decided to go out for dinner only once out of six or seven nights because the included dinner was perfectly good. So overall, great service, very friendly and helpful owners and excellent value for money. 

Great value and service

A well-maintained hotel guesthouse near the slopes. Very hospitable and friendly owners as well as excellent breakfast and dinner. Very nice rooms with a great view. In conclusion: Platzl is definitely worth a trip!

I can't think of a better way.

By chance, a surprising surprise awaited us, a warm welcome with information about the area and the hikes to do, in an exceptional setting. The hostess at the reception and the hostess at the furnace in line with all expectations.

Birthday holidays

So, if you're reading this, you're probably thinking of going to stay. I would if I were you.

- Manuela, Hans and their staff are very welcoming. They did so much to help us and it felt like nothing was too much trouble

- The hotel is very clean, the decor is nice and up together and the whole ambience is lovely

- There is free wifi and it works well enough to stream video

- The prices are very reasonable, especially in the bar

- The location is good, only a minute or so to walk to the piste, hire shop or ski school. If you put your mind to it and don't mind a bit of off roading you could probably ski right back

This was the first time we did a group trip that wasn't with a UK tour operator. I would definitely say this worked out far better, it's all about holidaying like a local. We would definitely head back to Das Platzl, it was great.
