We booked apartment 5 for 3 nights and it had been advertised as home from home etc.  Unless you live in a slum or worse then yes it would be home from home.  I have thrown away better towels, furnishings, chairs, cutlery.  The smell of the apartment was enough.  Extremely hard to contact the owner.  We did not stay as totally unacceptable.  DO NOT BOOK THESE APARTMENTS

DO NOT STAY HERE

I found myself well, big apartment, two spacious and bright double rooms, a very large and bright living room with a comfortable sofa. Bathroom and kitchen of lower size but right. Stove and kitchen functional. I'll let you suggest that I find a phon and maybe a brush with pallet for the longer stays. The hostess is very kind and discreet. She also advised me where to go for dinner, responding to my WhatsApp messages with courtesy and speed! return willingly. it's also convenient because near the stops and near the beautiful river house. P.S. Below there are also two restaurants and behind the house a beautiful garden that blends the view.

large and comfortable

We were extended family of 14 pax and rented 3 apartments. And those all were like huge. Cleanliness left much to desire. But was not that bad. Prices very reasonable. Wi-Fi is like dead and doesn't work.its on a busy street.overall not bad.

I unfortunately booked apartment 5.    There was no toaster, no wine glasses, only one tea mug, only two coat hangers able to carry trousers.     The room needed clean throughout as there was dust and grime on ledges and windows..    Mould in the shower, a dozen dead moths in the kitchenette ceiling light, some cooking pots were cracked, dirty and rusty, there were 160 TV channels, but actually only about 6 as the same channel was repeated 20-30 times, wifi was poor and I had to sign in several times a day during my six day stay.

NEEDS CLEANED AND BETTER EQUIPPED

This clean, comfortable  and well furnished apartment was a five minute walk to work with my Salzburg colleagues, groceries and a variety of restaurants.  I felt quite at home from the moment I walked in.  A twenty walk to the Evangelische Christuskirche on the Salzach river where I worshiped and another 15 minutes to the Altstadt.  I had a unit with a small kitchen (two hotplate stovetop, small fridge and water heater, sink) on the third floor (no elevator).  The staff is only occasionally in the office but promptly responded to e-mail requests.  They had my key waiting in an electronic lock box  when I arrived and were very friendly and helpful when I asked for information on how to use the washing machine on the premises (there is also a nice laundromat a few minutes away).  I stayed three weeks and received new towels in the bathroom once per week.  An LCD TV with about 10 Austrian/German channels was available.  The bed was very generously sized - a bit soft for my taste.  Free WiFi was welcome -  sufficient for browsing, e-mail and streaming video at mid-resolution (it did drop out and require my logging in more frequently than I'd liked).  I will happily stay again

Clean, comfortable space in a convenient location for a longer stay

The apartment was large (even the bathroom) and comfortable (presence of closet, various furniture, oven, fridge, boiler room... maybe there was a lack of a cleaning since the cleaning was only planned at the end of the sitting to pay extra). Against the walls were a little dusty, some spiders. The sheets were probably washed, but not very well (on one there were little traffic).

The apartment was big but not cozy, with old furniture and unusable kitchen, no towel and no broom. It was especially dirty!It was unacceptable since they paid 35 euros more than the already salty booking fee for the cleanup itself!The bathroom had hair and hair everywhere, the toilet with traces of previous guests...we had to buy the necessary and clean, we had to stay 3 nights!We called Mrs Wirrer to tell her the fact and she gave us an appointment for quite a couple of times but she never showed up.

To be Avoided

It was very spacious for 4 people (a large and well equipped double room with closets), a room with two single beds (also with closets), a large, clean and equipped bathroom, a large kitchen equipped with everything and clean and a decent dining room (obsolete furnishings, very old TV unusable). Clean and well heated. Close to the center (with a beautiful walk along the river you get to the center in about 15 minutes).

It's a great location, but...

We stayed in Salzburg on New Year's Eve and stayed three nights in Wirrer apartments. We were in a single room on the third floor. Good quality/position/price ratio. Providential the possibility of leaving the car in the inner courtyard (reachable from a narrow gate), nearby parking is almost impossible. The structure is very convenient to reach from the highway and not far from the center (15 minutes walk and conveniently served by buses). The area is not the top but we have had no problems. The entrance to the structure is monitored by a video camera and comfortable light that lights on to the main hall. The single room but has everything you need.
