Be careful: 2 coffees to go cost 12 Euro! Pure highway robbery! Even in the historic center of Vienna this would cost 9 euro max 

Moderne Raubritter

On the way from Munich to Vienna we stopped off here for a break to refresh and grab a bite to eat. Service is friendly and quick. They have a few buses stop by so I guess they're used to turning through people quickly and efficiently and they id so well while still making you feel welcome.

This hotel is part of a big chain and has a large resturant with a large menu that is open 24hours so you can get food at most times you arrive.it also has a large shop on site for gifts. This hotel also has a large car park for all guest.

Lots of food choice

We stayed in this hotel 2 days before Christmas. We were travelling and didn't expect anything other than a good night's sleep on a 1200 mile drive across Europe. We were given room 411 which peculiarly had a glass toilet door. I don't know what the Austrians are into, but each to their own. 
When the restaurant closed at 11pm, it began to sound like a building site beneath us. They must have had complaints about this before as it was so ridiculously noisy. Trolleys were being bashed into walls, tables or other heavy items being dragged across the floor, there was clanking of glass and metal as they cleared everything away and I’m sure half of it was unnecessary. It was not background noise, you could feel the banging and scrapping through the floor and bed. It was impossible to sleep through and I wear a hearing aid in one ear. I complained at 11.30pm and the man behind the counter went to speak to the kitchen to ask them to be respectful and keep the noise down. The noise died down for 5 whole minutes which proves it could be done and then it resumed at the same level. We held on for a while longer hoping it would end soon but at 12.45 I had to ask for another room as it was unacceptable and we could not sleep at all. Reception had a key ready as if they were expecting it. The second room was as you would expect at the other end of the hotel. When in the morning I tried to explain the terrible night sleep my wife and I had to the lady on reception, she brushed it off without an apology, kept saying that is good whenever we said we did not get good night’s sleep. When we said we want to speak to the manager, she said she would put it in the book and when we asked for compensation, she said we can "have a complimentary apple"! I don't know if she was being serious or ignorant but she did not care 1 iota.
I normally stay in an Ibis as they are clean, simple and quiet which I would continue to do in future. This hotel was twice as expensive but I think much much worse! What a terrible night’s sleep and rude staff.

Avoid noisy rooms around 411 and the rude morning staff

The restaurant is overpriced. One of our meals didn't look anything like the meal on the picture. The beef soup was served in a tiny bowl and cost over 3 euros. The chips were too salty and my son's chicken turned up with rice instead of mashed potatoes. We paid almost 40 euros for a rubbish lunch. We won't be stopping here in the future. 

Not worth a visit

We were on the road for a while and needed a place to rest for the night, being with our dog we asked around for a dog friendly hotel at a gas station and they've been so kind that they've reserved us a room at  Landzeit. It was a very clean room, quiet, tv in the room, bathroom with shower. The restaurant also very clean , great food, nice waiters. Very nice experience and would recommend this hotel !
