Run by a very sweet couple. My heavy bag was carried up two flights of stairs, my wet boots & jacket were taken into the drying room. My German is terrible, but it’s easy for me to communicate. The photo is the view from my room.

Peaceful break

Stayed there, the week before some ski races held in Seefeld. The good things: the owners are very friendly and make all effort to make you feel home. I wish I could have communicated better with them; they only spoke German, and I only speak English. Even with the language barrier, it was noticeable their friendliness.  
The house is big, clean and the breakfast is great!
The cons: the location, unfortunately, is not the most convenient. If you don't have a car there, I can see it becoming a little more challenging to get to other places such as Seefeld, Innsbruck. It seems like there are buses running up and down, but I did not use them. So, just make sure you do some research about how to get to/from the place you plan to visit. ;)

Great value for money - nice quiet home

We stayed for 7 days at the Guesthouse "House Geiger" in Scharnitz.
It is located in a quite neighborhood, easy to find.
The room was big enough, clean well furnished + a nice balcony.
Mrs. Geiger (as well as Mr. Geiger) are very friendly and helpful
The breakfast was rich - just as we expected. 
The priced was € 50 + Tax. Which is relatively low.
We warmly recommend staying with them.

EXCELENT !!!

The house was fairly easy to find by foot from the train station - signpost from the main road. A variety of restaurants in the area (when they are open - I'm sure the one i went to got tired of my face 4 days in a row!)
Breakfast in the morning was very nice and filling. 
The view from my room was awesome!
The owner of the house speaks very little English so there was a small language barrier between us. I also speak a little German so we could convey messages but not to have a conversation.
If you are planning on going on some winter walks, march is probably too early as the paths are still under 20-30cm of snow. Saying that, the walk up the Isar River was fantastic!
The room was old but its kinda what I expected. The shower was nice after ducking under the roof's beam to get into! The WiFi was free and quick, what more could a modern day person want!
Overall, really enjoyed my stay, recommended for those on a budget who don't mind room aesthetics particually
