Hotel very nicely located with private steps, the street in between doesn't really bother! The rooms in the main house are a little more well occupied, the cleanliness in the bathroom and toilet could be better 😜 Even the area at the drinks drain in the restaurant could be cleaner and cleaner! The new concept in the restaurant is very good: excellent quality of products, modernly processed! Especially the dessert deserves great praise 😇👍👍

Attersee = feeling good

We are already like regular guests around New Year's Eve to be able to spend the change of year in the Attersea. Again this year we were enthusiastic about the natural and warm hospitality of Mrs. Schmiedleitner, who never loses her smile even in the greatest trouble. Mr. Schmiedleitner, again, as chef, shows his passion for cooking at every bite.

Hospitality and cuisine from the ENEMY!!

We were excited about the new culinary concept, not least because there were very different impressions posted here. Right in advance: the menu was excellent. The chef focused on a small map or a tailored menu. This was undoubtedly successful. The partly out of order creations tasted good. The portions could be bigger, but when the first bites taste more, then nothing is left. The ambience convinces with an excellent view of the attersea and rounded off the overall impression.

Pleasantly surprised!

Overpriced, mini-portions, forgotten service, had to reorder the wine twice, snacks to forget, never again!

They wanted to test the new owner.

Price/performance doesn't fit here. The rooms are lovely modernized no more. The mattress is too thin, so you bumped into the wooden frame. The faucet is so calcified that it barely got water out. The dryer had some long hair hanging... Breakfast is paid extra. Basically everything there, but no attention to detail. Tetrapack and 1 liter yogurt cups were just on the buffet. The boat ramp that can be used is very nice. For me, price/performance doesn't fit!

Price/performance does not match

This place is unique and enchants the visitor from the beginning. Nowhere else in the area can you enjoy the lake so relaxedly, be it on the houseboat dock, on the terrace or from the balcony of one of the clean and simple rooms. The kitchen of the house restaurant also makes you happy!

Unique location

The house on the lake is beautiful, with own pier, pleasurable rooms and comfy beds. The owners are very nice, cordial. The breakfast and the dinner (especially on terrace) is extraordinary, food is excellent quality. All  atmosphere is unforgettable!

Fantastic location, exceptional hospitality

Was here around 7 years ago and the food was excellent. However, this week We have a company dinner here again. But it was not as good as I can remember. 

I order seafood paella. And it doesn’t taste anything. Really disappointed here. 
Luckily, dessert was excellent. The apple strudel was good. 

Not as expected

The location is beautiful, the house is very familiar, the bathroom is a good reason to come back again and again. The food is excellent, only vegetarians have a bit of a hard time. Breakfast on the beautiful terrace with unique views is just a dream. And every still thoughtful wish of the spontaneous guest is fulfilled as much as possible: to take a mountain house with you because you want to leave in time or a sec at an advanced hour, when the last guest is already late and the host has finally rested, or flowers and cakes for the birthday child or the accommodation of surprisingly added family members of the holiday guests.... but the list and the answer for the guests is simple: If the hotel is too warm and the atmosphere is too hot, sometimes the hotel is still a problem, but if the hotel is in the right place, the hotel and the surroundings are too big to be found!

Hospitality is very welcome here.

We felt very comfortable in this friendly house! The headmistress is very hardworking and friendly! Rooms are very large and beautiful! Despite the inevitable shoreline a wonderful view! Especially the very good breakfast on the guest bench with the view of the attersea in the morning - a delight! The hostel or stables with boat house are also very inviting! Thank you very much for the successful holiday!
