We had a lovely stay in Schrannerhof! 
The staff was very friendly and service-oriented. 
The house was very cosy.
The apartment was very clean.
The restaurant and the food were nice.
The location is good: only a few steps to the ski area of Diedamskopf and within a 20 minute drive from Schrocken / Warth and Mellau / Damuls


We spent lovely days in Schannerhof!

We were four in the outdoor area. The children had plenty of opportunities to play. The staff were very friendly and the food tasted good. It is highly recommended from our side. We did not look at the interior.

Family-friendly restaurant

Everything was fine, as always with Zündel. The apartment was excellent, the kitchen was fully furnished, the bathroom very clean, the bedroom top. The breakfast was rich and excellent. Only regional products, most of them from our own production. The restaurant has a small, selected menu with only freshly prepared dishes. A dream. We're back.

Short vacation

The evaluation relates only to the restaurant, not to the boardroom! The dishes use regional products, which are shown in the menu. These products could be used to cook great food and serve it in a pleasant, warm-hearted atmosphere... The potential is there, but unfortunately it is not being used. The reality is this: - The dishes are simply prepared, there is a lack of a certain finesse. - The atmosphere in the dining room is hectic and it is very loud. - There is a sense of mass preparation: the services lose sight, run around, relax, distribute food and then gather the hectic plates once again. - With a large group of reservations that have not all been prepared at the same time, we can also arrive at the conclusion that the best food is not yet available, but that the next day, the next day, the food is not going to be delivered to the kitchen, and the next day, the kitchen is not going to be unreserved.

Potential - unfortunately only an Apres ski bar

Even if you arrive at the lovely Bergkristall hut on the way, you are really hungry again at the latest after the long descent. So we were on a humid Saturday at the end of July. We also had to wait for the difficult 1200 m altitude (including Gewitter and Starkregen) at the appetizer family's Zündelhof in the neighbouring Schoppernau. A friendly family business that brings to the table delicious ham and solid homemade food

We have been visiting the Schrannenhof since the time when it did not exist at all! That is why we have been able to follow the developments over the years. And I can always say: it is simply great! The location right on the slope, the holiday apartments, which are exceptionally well cut (and decorated), the guesthouse, which has its charm both in winter (yes, also with a bunch of hungry and tired children) and in summer. If the terrace is a quiet beer shop, all this provides the framework for a few relaxing holiday days in the head in summer and winter. All this is just a casual product, but if not to order dishes from Maria and Viktor Zündelinger and their beautifully structured products in the kitchen; and if in the whole of the house there is a small group of hungry and tired children; and if the terrace is a quiet beer shop, all this provides the framework for a few relaxing holiday days in the head in summer and in winter.

A visit here is like coming home!

The first time was in the cottage yard and it was booked for next year. Wouldn't you be happy if you weren't! The location right by the elevator is sensational, the restaurant is homey and the food is excellent, we were 8 people, ate differently and almost every day and never ate badly. The staff is so friendly and our apartment was the runner! the elevator, the underground garage etc. everything with it. We felt very comfortable and now look forward to the next February.

Skiing holidays

A pleasant service, good dishes, but progress in taste, a slightly bland cuisine compared to other restaurants. A positive point, a musical atmosphere after skiing in the afternoon!

Average

As guests of the Elisabeth Hotel, we were recommended to have dinner at the Schrannenhof: the bar was quite noisy; the food was nothing special, but expensive.

Price performance not OK

This is just about the restaurant in the Schrannenhof. This is of course a cult, because in the course of a skitage at the Diedamskopf you have to simply enter here. A real family business with a focus on regional homemaker cuisines. A well-played service team is nice and creepy, as is the case with the Skihütten-Atmo. There is not always everything on the map - it is also complicated by time - but everything there is delicious in the ski area: simple, rustic dishes such as ham, snitzel, french and sausage, bacon, etc. With many products from our own manufacture or from the immediate neighbourhood.
