The small pension is family owned, very helpful staff, good location to relax with great views and hiking options (summer). Breakfast was very nice. The rooms are not too big, but also not tiny as in other places. Bathroom was nice. Ladis is a small village, and has a few dining options, make sure you explore the castle!

Hidden spot on the mountain

To be honest I first came here in the early 90's when there was still a working farm (I stayed in a single room above the cows!!) so I'm slightly biased in that I've been a lot of times. But I think this is still a impartial review:
First up: you can book part self catering two bedroom small flats with a living room and balcony or more basic rooms. The location is amazing, literally 3 minutes at the very most to the Ladis ski lift and very easy to find. If there is a lot of snow, you will probably need snow chains to get up the entrance slope to the hotel but they clear it often.
I've stayed in all the types of accomodation here and overall its very clean, tidy and I would say basic in that everything you need is there but its not 5 star frills and fancy design. 

This review is for a mid level double room
Depending on your room you get a shower or bath. 
The showers are fantastic. They give you shower gel to use but not individual shampoo's etc. 
Being European, there's no kettle/tea/coffee in the room, but that's expected. There's a tv with a large selection of German and European channels and a couple of English speaking ones. There's a lot of wardrobe space and drawers and so on and a safe and fresh towels of course. If you book breakfast, you're not disappointed. A comprehensive continental buffet with cereals and breads and eggs and bacon is available and is excellent.
The best thing without doubt though is the help and kindness of Natalie the host. I asked for a couple of wine glasses and some extra soap and it was sorted instantly and left in the room without question. I needed some snow chains due to the massive snowfalls recently, for my hire car which hadn't added them, and she got her brother in law to buy me some in Innsbruck and bring them to me, rather than me having to go to the next village to pay through the nose for some.
Anything is not a problem and if you can't find her, there's always a note of how to contact any of them on the reception phone. The price for this is very reasonable and its no surprise she gets booked up very quickly. Can't recommend it highly enough unless you want fancy high design hotel rooms which case there are plenty of other places for you. For location and hospitality it can't be beaten.

Great place, brilliant hospitality.

We decided to stay in this property on the occasion of a visit to the bike park of Serfaus. What a beautiful, convenient location for services and transport. Overview of the valley. Hospitality at the top!!! Comfortable and clean room. Everything very well maintained. We received all the useful information for transport and for the ongoing activities.

That's very nice.

The family atmosphere, the excellent breakfast, the clean and beautiful rooms, the very good price level, the excellent location (close to the gondola railway) and the entire facility will make it a must to stay here. The Grandma makes it possible, who sees everything and makes the mood early in the morning at breakfast, the daughter-in-law (grandma calls her a gift from heaven), holds the bar. What more do you want! You are and feel like a guest.

Family-run pension with a high level of price performance

We stayed in Apart Pension Bergland for 7 nights and it was our best stay in Austria so far. Super accomodation just 100m from the ski lift in yet in a quiet location, perfect for families. Spaceful and newly renovated apartement. Everything was clean and nice, personal was friendly. Realy valuable.

Great quality for reasonable price

We stayed in Apart-Pension Bergland for 5 nights during the Easter season. Our room was nice and clean and felt pretty new. Staff was very friendly and breakfast buffet was of a good quality. The only minus was their wi-fi, which did not work in our room, only at downstairs.

If you are planning to go to ski, the Sonnenbahn lift and rental shops are in 5 min reach by walking. Otherwise Ladis is very quiet and small place with just a few restaurants.

Nice quiet place 5 min from ski lifts

We were here for an overnight stay in early August. Our extended family had reservations for 2 standard rooms. To accommodate us better, we were actually given one standard room and an apartment that was next to it on the same floor, but with kitchen area as well.

The rooms were spotless and all furniture seemed quite new. Despite being on first floor, there was no noise problems because Bergland is at the end of a narrow private street, several meters above the main street. The front yard that our windows were pointing to had a parking area for guests and sandbox + toys for kids.

Breakfast was good, Austrian fare with cereals, eggs, bread rolls; very satisfying.

Sonnenbahn lift to Fiss was about 5 minutes leisurely walk. The other way it took about 10 minutes to reach the local mPreis grocery store and would've taken few more minutes to get to the Ladis castle. The closest bus stop was probably the one at the lift station, didn't use it so I didn't pay attention to it.

Only negative I had was with the Wi-fi signal in the hotel, which for whatever reason was unusable in our room. If we went to the lobby it was OK.
