I had a voucher from the hotel, which I couldn't use during the pandemic because of all the well-known entry problems. The management refused to extend the voucher, even for an extra price. The voucher was paid, but we didn't get any compensation for it. The hotel wasn't interested in a solution, it rejected all my suggestions for an agreement. Travel time reduction, billing when booking again... We went no further. Obviously you didn't have to win new willing guests. Very unfortunate and disappointing from the management.

Uncluttered management

The Maximilian is located at the beginning of Serfaus, so it is easy to drive by car. It takes only a few steps to reach the village railway and thus has a quick connection to the cable car terminal. The hotel offers everything that makes up a 4* hotel. An elegant and very well-heated swimming pool, spa area, a very comfortable bar, beautiful comfortable rooms, modern bathroom. From the dining area you can look directly at the mountains, which is also true for most rooms. The breakfast buffet leaves no wishes, a cook is available all the time for the preparation of hot meals. During the multi-course dinners, among other themed meals, we offer special special dishes, as well as two main dishes, which have been served to us in Italy, and so far this is not a very tasty and tasty meal.

We were very satisfied with the rooms, the spacious bathroom, and the furnishings. The rooms were well maintained, each with a top-notch cleanliness during times when we were not present.

Hotel that's got 4****

Hotel now under Russian management, mostly untrained staff, in the restaurant canteen food, no salad, mostly finished products, often just lukewarm. Soups watery and tasteless. Breakfast and jam without any notable highlights, cakes inedible. Beds totally crowded.

Gourmet hotel booked, canteen dining, not worth four stars.

Our vacation had to be canceled due to the corona-related closure. A year later, we still haven't fully recovered the deposit amount despite a lawyer. We can only recommend this hotel!

Get your fingers off me!

We were already in the hotel in 2019. We liked it very much. Price performance was good in our eyes. So we booked it again for 2020, but then we had to cancel it for health reasons. This happened in time according to the AGB. We haven't received a refund of the deposit until today (August 2020). The cancellation was in January 2020. Calls and a lot of emails just don't get any response. Nobody cares. Because of Corona I have actively suggested rewriting the deposit into a voucher for 2021. Also no response to that. For me, the conclusion follows that the hotel must be bankrupt. Otherwise I can't explain. I can't explain the manner of customer-friendly and behaviour. I would let my fingers out of it!

Be careful, it seems to be insolvent!

The hotel has been completely renovated and is in excellent condition, especially the wellness area. Our reception at the reception was also super friendly. So what's wrong? Well, the location is just fine because you have to drag the skiers up the mountain in the evening. But you know that beforehand. A big drawback is the kitchen. The food is absolutely unworthy of a 4-star hotel in Austria! Never ever!

We decided to go to the Hotel Maximilian spontaneously and were more disappointed with the day after day. Even though we started with the food, the dinner that was so generously appreciated by other guests was the same, in most cases, as the dinner of a canteen/mensa. Very nice hotel, with large and clean rooms. Bathroom is new and equipped with shower and bathtub. Wellness area also new with Finnish sauna, steam bath and heat cabin. Rich breakfast buffet, afternoon jam and four-way menu in the evening. Very friendly staff, both at the reception, restaurant and bar. Quiet location, but the subway can be reached in 4 minutes on foot.

We visited Hotel Maximilian at the end on January. Excellent location in a beautiful town. We had great long weekend in the hotel. Dinner and breakfast were very good. Service in restaurant and bar were perfect. We enjoyed a lot in your luxury spa.

But, after last dinner we asked for late check out. We were told that we can keep our room until 12:00 o’clock. We were carrying our luggage to hotel lobby few minutes before 12:00 to check out. Woman at reception was very angry to us and blaming us that we should have payed our bill at 10:30am. No one ever told that to us. Behaviour of hotel receptionist was very bad and rude. 

4-star hotel like this shouldn’t place workers with such a bad customer service skills to work in reception. So I believe that the lady (Russian accent) must be the owner or his wife.
