We stayed for a few days in August and it was very nice. It is a short walk from the center of Sillian and near the bike path and the station where you can also rent bicycles. Both the common areas and the room seem to have been recently renovated, modern and clean style. The room was quite large and with a nice terrace, nothing to say about cleanliness. Too bad they put the carpet on the ground since it was recently renovated. Free Wi-Fi and parking. Breakfast varied and abundant. The owner welcomed us kindly and warmly even though she is often not present so it may not be easy to ask for information or other requests. There is no refrigerated bar in the room.

When we arrived we were enthusiastic about the facility, absolutely well-maintained and beautiful, with elevator and a well-furnished hall and breakfast room. Then we found the following: - the managers don't give any kind of soaps or soaps as a pension (but in another pension in Austria they had given us everything). I had never had this happen to me, not even in bad hotels or reception facilities; - they don't have a child's chair, nor any kindly care for our son.

Substance beyond appearance?

Sweetie, the problem is that the structure is divided into a new and an old part. We stayed in the old part. The nice room only that we didn't have blinds, we only had a dark tent (but not too much) and by 6:30 the sun was in the room. Good breakfast, obviously very watered coffee. If it wasn't for the lack of blinds it would be a good structure.

Great location, in a quiet neighborhood and two steps from the bike path. Standard rooms are quite dated, but still comfortable. Good breakfast, sorry there is no bar station in the room or in the hallway with at least a boiler, an automated machine... would be very convenient.

Sweetie, just a little out of date.

A new and spacious room, spacious bathroom, very punctual cleaning, international breakfast and a bit basic (I would have expected something done at home but patience). The owner is always smiling and kind. Good quality price ratio considering also the location (in a few minutes by car you are in Val Pusteria).

Good value for money

Friendly and helpfull  owners, good breakfast but without warm dishes, two kinds of rooms old one and renovated , I've been in old part, room was quite big and clean. Nice  modern climatic entrance hall. Quiet nice surrondings , 8 minutes by foot to the center of Sillian.

Nice but not impressed

We spent several nights at the Guggenberger Pension at the beginning of February 2016. The accommodation operators are very friendly and caring. Our room was in the new part of the building and we liked it very much. It was large, clean and designed in a simple way. The W-Lan works superbly otherwise. The breakfast offers plenty of choice and everything is always fresh. If you want to ski, you can theoretically reach the Sillian ski area in a few minutes on foot. In addition, there are some good restaurants in the vicinity. The Pension Guggen nearby would definitely book again on a next stay, as not only the room is true, but you can also feel comfortable through the friendliness of the owner.

It's a very nice place.

We had planned a visit to the wedding of a former school-mate. All travellers and even the age of the children were indicated by us. We had to deal with a booking confirmation with a booking of 3 doubles (there is only a double room). After a phone call at the time to ask for a booking, we were told that we would still have to send an email to all my traveling companions. This was taken for granted. Disappointment with the billing!

The room was nice, very clean and newly equipped. Breakfast is very nice. Internet annoys a bit, because after a short time interval a login is required again, but okay.
Why we were a bit unhappy was because of very little flexibility.... We left a day erlier than planned (bad weather) and told the owners a day in advance. Still we had to pay the full price.
