The location is absolutely amazing, however the service and hostess was terribly rude. If you’re under the age of 30 I can not recommend this apartment as the hostess will act as if you were a disease to get rid off. 

Horrible service 

My room was comfortable with excellent bed. From balcon we saw beatifull mounthains and gondols. In kitchen was everything what we needed. For people with ski was room for boots and skis as well. Tha apartament is fantastycznym for family.

My apartament looks perfect, everything was very usefull. Clean kitchen and bath. The staff was nice and helpfull.

This was our first trip to Solden. 

We would definitely recommend a stay here. The room we had was very spacious and well equipped. Spotlessly clean and a very warm welcome.

The buffet for breakfast was plentiful and nice to have the choice of eggs cooked to order. Served in a lovely room.

I have never seen such a clean and tidy ski and boot room what a treat.

We would definitely stay again.

Weekend Trip

We (2 adults and 2 children 11-12) stayed 1 week at Appartementhaus Kathrin including daily breakfast - During this time we went skiing every day (starting as Gaislachkogl-Bahn) on Soelden ski area - Kathrin is local thus she knows everything and everywhere - She proved to be a great manager, very friendly advisor all while being mother of 3 - She does everything for her guests to enjoy their stay. I want to warmly recommend her Residence to anyone traveling with family looking for a great time in Ötztal.

Great family ski week in Soelden

I have stayed now four times in Apartmenthaus Kathrin. That means I really like the place. I almost don't want to write a review here so that it does not get too difficult to book a room on our next holiday...

I would give Kathrin 5 stars, but I have reserved that number of stars to places that are really 5-star accommodations with all the related luxury. If just looking at price/quality or the general needs when renting an apartment for a ski holiday I would give Kathrin's place 5 stars.

Apartmenthaus Kathrin is located almost at the end of the main road going through Sölden. It's close to one of the two main lifts, Gaislachkogelbahn. I like the location - it's close to the main lift and still walking distance to everything in Sölden. There is a supermarket and bakery close to the hotel. It's a quiet place - you will not hear the after ski or nightly party people in the town.

Kathrin's apartment hotel is very well kept. Everything is clean and she has recently renovated and is still renovating many of the rooms. 

We have always taken breakfast as part of the service and liked it very much. Katrhin also serves boiled or scrambled eggs.

Kathrin herself is really the mother of the house. Super friendly and always has time for a chat. Her two kids

Next time we go and ski in Sölden, we for sure stay in Kathrin's place again.
