We just completed a week stay at the Haus Madeleine. The location is great. The house is clean, comfortable and well maintained. Helga was a great host, accommodating and easy to deal with. We would definitely rent the Haus Madeleine again.

Summer holiday 2021

Very nice place, we stayed here for 1 week in summer 2018. Very clean, comfortable and very friendly host. 
The included Ötztaler Premium Card gives you a lot of opportunities for free or with discount.
The accomodation is in the outskirts, but within walking distance from the town, ideal located !

Summer holiday week

We can really recommend the accommodation with your new and tastefully furnished apartments to everyone. Very nice landlord who was happy to help in all matters. Free ski bus stayed close to home, travelled in 10 minutes and took us to the center or to the elevator for free within about 5 minutes. Accommodation with top location and equipment!!! We will choose the accommodation again for our vacation in the near future.

Excellent accommodation with perfect location

We had three bedrooms and kitchen. This accommodation was perfect for our family with three kids. Everything was clean and cosy. There was about 15 minutes walk to village. All of the noise of village of Sölden was far away, but we could see the village from the balcony and enjoy the scenery. Skibus was driving really often, and there was only 50 meters walk to buss stop. Great place! The owner of the House Madeleine lived in the same house. She was really helpfull!

Great place for our family

The house is very nice, with a beautiful entrance area.
The rooms are big enough, simple but nicely furnished.
The bathrooms has everything you need and the bathroom furniture and finishes are modern.
Breakfast is very good (I would say even better than the typical breakfast in the Austrian pensions). Fresh soft boiled eggs, nicely arranged with small hats above were a nice touch.
The ski room is typical - with electric heated support for the boots.
The ski bus stops at 30-40 m from the house, and it reaches Giggijochbahn in 4-5 minutes.
The house is in a peaceful area in the Northern part of Solden, but you can reach the center in 20 minutes walking.
The host is very nice and friendly.
All in all it was great value for the money.
It was a perfect stay and we would definetly stay here again.

Everything was perfect!

The hotel is convenient because it's in Zelden, but because it's on the outskirts, there's no noise from bars and tourists. The next elevator takes 3-5 minutes on the ski resort. If you decide to feel the nightlife in the evening, it's easy, about 15 minutes on foot or by taxi. If the goal of the trip is to skate and party in the evenings, this hotel is for you. Plus, you can get a free voucher to visit the bathroom complex.

The Alpine Fairy Tale

We stayed here for a long weekend and the accommodation was fine.  The host was kind and welcoming, the room was clean, relatively spacious and had a good en-suite bathroom.

It is about a 10-15 minute walk from the center of Solden - maybe 10 minute to the nearest lift, which means it is very peaceful at night. But the ski bus stops about 20metres from the front door so it is still convenient to get to the lifts.

Breakfast was a typical Austrian breakfast with meat, cheese, boiled eggs, bread etc.

Would definitely stay again if we are back in Solden.

Good B&B accommodation in quiet part of the resort

We had a great stay in Solden, it truely is the best place to ski in Austria, but this is about Haus Madeleine.
To be honest there isnt too much to say, We stayed in the basement room, So it is exactly what you expect of a basement room, the place was clean and big enough for us 2, comfy beds, everything worked as it should, Free WiFi, Ski room, Nice simple breakfast, would be better if there was a warm option apart from boiled egg, but other than that it was OK. the Haus is a 'healthy' walk away from the centre but there is a bus available, though we never used it so not sure how good, or frequent it is. We also got free access to the local pool and sauna, which is worth a visit.

I will add that the lady owner was very friendly and also very helpfull, we would consider a return visit for sure.

Nice and clean

I stayed in the summer for 3 nights in a B&B. Good breakfast and perfect cleaning. Unfortunately the rooms on the ground floor are very wet and the beds are noisy.
