Once again Kuki and Josef were exceptional as host for our stay last week. The apartments yet again were fantastically clean and full of every amenity you need. Kuki also arranged our Ski hire and Ski passes. This helped us so much to settle in early and not worry about the next days activities.
The village of Lannersbach has everything you need for a relaxing Ski holiday; it's own ski lift, a glacier 10 mins away on a free bus and plenty of restaurants. However if you don't wish to use the local supermarket and bakery opposite the house, Kuki does a fantastic breakfast.
We were a large group of 22 and shared numerous apartments, however Kuki has individual family apartments also.
This is not my first stay at Gudrun, surffice to say it makes you go back because of the excellent standard.

Yet another amazing stay at Landhaus Gudrun

Endless hot water, comfy comfy beds, well equipped, excellent location and exceptionally clean apartment.  What more could one need? Nothing is too much trouble for Kuki and Josef, who are friendly and welcoming. We will definitely return. 

Everything you need!

What a fantastic week I had at Gudrun, the hosts were so welcoming, the accommodation was fantastic, very clean and very comfortable. Went for breakfast included and was a great decision. Everything fresh and of a high standard. Plenty of room to relax if you did not want to apre, tv, cooker, fridge, but I suggest you try some of the local restaurants. One of the best guesthouses I have stayed in.

Fantastic week in Lanersbach

My fiance and I stayed here for a week in February 2014. The service is great - very friendly and helpful and we even got given freshly baked cake one afternoon...just what you need after a long day on the mountain. The owners also organised our ski passes for us and had these ready upon arrival so we could ski as soon as we got there. Our apartment was clean and excellent value for money as it is located about a two minute walk from the eggalm lift and the bus which takes you to the hintertux and other ski areas. There is a spar supermarket a five minute walk away so the self catering apartment was perfect. All in all would highly recommend staying here. 

Fantastic service - great value

My husband and I, our son and his wife shared a flat here for 2 weeks at  Christmas/ New Year 2013/2014. This was our 3rd visit to the Tuxertal in December, because the glacier at Hintertux guarantees snow all year round  and Lanersbach combines easy access to the glacier with the charm and beauty of an Austrian village.
It is virtually impossible to get accommodation in the Tuxertal at peak times, because the regulars book a year in advance and snap  everything up. We were delighted to " be accepted" by Gudrun and Josef Duringer at Landhaus Gudrun.
We received prompt and friendly replies, when we booked( in May!) and Gudrun has excellent English. The flat was spotlessly clean and the living and kitchen areas  comfortable,spacious and well-equipped. The description on the website is accurate and we knew in advance that the 2nd double room was a bit less spacious with less natural light. 
There was masses of hanging space and hangers in the wardrobe of the main bedroom and the bathroom was sparkling with an endless supply of piping hot water - an absolute necessity after a workout on the slopes.
Most of all, nothing was too much trouble for the Duringers - we opted for the delivery of warm rolls in the morning and our rolls were outside the door each morning in a cute basket and there were lovely Christmas decorations throughout the house. The Duringers invited all the guests to an " At Home" for Christmas and again for New Year and we were treated to festive drinks and snacks on their beautiful terrace.
There is easy access to the supermarket, a 100m walk up the road to the Eggalm lift and the bus stop  up and down the valley. 
I'd also like to put in a good word for Sport Nenner, one of the local ski shops. They have shops on the glacier, in Hintertux and also in Lanersbach - the service is first rate and professional whether you are looking to hire or for a ski- service or advice on adjusting your own equipment - this is the go-to place for impeccable, highly skilled and genuinely courteous service. 
Eating out is also very good - both on the mountain - Spannagelhaus is a great new addition to the glacier and in the village the Pipasa pizzeria offers a great value pizza and is 20 metres from the door.
We have booked again already at Landhaus Gudrun for New Year next year  because this is the only way to guarantee we will get in!
