We were going to spend two nights at the Thomann Inn on July 22nd, and after two days, I politely asked if you could send me a booking confirmation, and she said she didn't have time yet, but she's still sending it to me today. Unfortunately, no one came, so I tried again on the third day. The answer came that they're a family business, and if she's sent me an offer, it's going to work, and if I'm going too slow, I should book online. She was very rude and rude.

Unfriendly

This hotel is situated on a hill a few kilometers from the lake, just under 700 m high. However, from Velden am Woerthersee (very lively village) you can get there in a few minutes by car, but at the same time enjoys a remarkable tranquility. The positive aspects: - honest price, considering that we were there in August; - nice dinners, with local dishes, definitely better than in very touristy places along the lake, where you eat pizza, spaghetti and lasagna, also expensive (it is always advisable to move from the lake to eat); - in our case with a very large, but nevertheless charming balcony from which the view could stretch to the Slovenian Alps; - a small breakfast break, even if the quality improves; - (they always stay) afterwards. - Afterwards, you may have to risk: - We had to make the whole room available, but in case you do not have a very large, but very tasty room.

All right, but... put the mosquitoes down!

We were there for the first time since we had a boating tournament over the weekend. We had booked an apartment for 3 adults and with a really small dog. When we arrived we were treated very unfriendly at the reception. It was said that no dog had been booked and for the room we were not. We would be the first in the beds and it would not have happened at all. We didn't even come to the tournament to explain that our dog (2.5kg) had neither a bite nor a hardness and his own bed. It practically didn't fall off. The key was handed out with a glance at the equivalent. Whether we were vaccinated or tested over the three days of the house, but there were NO refreshments in the room!!!! But the food was just as tasty and tasty as it was.

Accommodation with 3 persons

It was a really successful vacation. The guests are very polite, the food is just great and the price-performance ratio is perfectly fine. We were in 5 minutes by car right by Wörther Lake. The rooms are spacious and cozy with huge balconies. We will definitely come back and can only recommend it.

Family Vacation

Perfect location to relax and enjoy nature. Nice quiet location about 5 minutes (by car) above Velden. Family room large enough and with 2 bedrooms. Very family-friendly hostel with free parking and large playground. Food in the restaurant was very good. Bath was a little small. The breakfast buffet had the same every day. In the TV only broadcast 2 channels, but we weren't there for television.

Good for Relaxation

10 minutes of velden in intact nature with perfect tranquility. Beautiful rooms, cozy dining room with a very good price ratio, floor-to-ceiling kitchen with excellent quality products, some from our own farming, and nice hosts. Normality as often missed. Great comfort factor away from trouble and self-presentation scenes in a wonderful environment. Recommended!

Relaxed alternative near Velden

Very friendly, warm and family atmosphere. You feel well taken care of from check-in to check-out and get tips for the area anytime you want to know anything. The team is very committed and fortunately does not let the nursing Westphalia ruin the good mood! Great! The food is also excellent and offers something for everyone - homemade slaughter as well as vegetarian dishes! Parking spaces are available right in front of the inn! For the be- and unload you can also drive right in front of the front door! Simple great! Dear welfare & team thank you very much for so much hospitality!

In a family we are in six: mother, father and four children aged 2 to 11 years and it is not easy to find hotels that meet all our needs at a reasonable price. The Gashof Thomann manages us splendidly! The mini-apartment room with its double room, sofa-bed and the single-bedroom room welcomes us all optimally (there is also the kitchen corner!). The Gasthof is also immersed in the green in a somewhat defiant location compared to Velden and Wortersee, but it is only a few minutes by car (minutes from the centre of Velden, ten minutes from the exit of the motorway) and so the Gasthof can be a convenient base for fights in the surrounding area (the gates, the monasteries, etc.).

Great for large families

Located very far from the Velden, the kilometres you find on the various booking sites are airline, the road is longer. The room was big enough and so was the bathroom. At the reception you have to wait for someone to arrive, it's not easy, both at arrival and departure. In the breakfast room you can smoke and it's full of smoke. There's a breakfast room for non-smokers but the door is left open and then it's useless to write that you can't smoke if the smoke enters through the door. it's very silly all this.

We had booked in this inn for four days. Unfortunately, the communication was not quite that simple. The reception was not overwhelming, but fine. The room was large and functional. The bathroom was also simple but fine. Everything was very clean. The location of the hotel is very quiet and relaxing accordingly. The breakfast was fine. As long-sleepers, however, we often had to ask for one or the other to fill up. Still, it was beautiful to start the day on the terrace overlooking the mountains. The dining at the restaurant was a highlight in the evening. Everything was very tasty and rich. We would never have come up with the idea, for example, to go to Velden to eat.
