As a hostel its quite good. The rooms are comfortable and ours was clean when we got there. Altough it doesnt have AC it wasnt a problem for us since the 4 days we stayed in VIenna it rainned cats and dogs. You can probably get something similar or better for the same price.

You get whay you pay for

I've visited this hostel only once, because I believe there are much more and better options in Vienna for the same or even cheaper price. I would call it the hostel of 90s, I believe there was nothing changed since early 90s. The room was clean, and that's all. On a positive side, there was a bathroom in my room, which is rare in hostels.

Average hostel

The hostel is located quite good, in the close proximity of an U-Bahn station and the room was clean, quite spacious. The bathroom was okay, nothing special here.

The WiFi is available only on the bottom floor, near the reception so if you want WiFi in your room, you can choose something else from the start

The main problem was that my room was on the top floor and it was very hot inside (it was summer, yes, and the room had no AC). Opening the window made it even hotter and yeah, basically you were boiling inside.

Also, you must always leave the key at the reception before leaving. I didn't understood why but well, they have it.

Good hostel but has no AC in rooms

The room was dirty when we arrived. Ok it's hostel, I don't expect a big comfort but I do expect to be clean. There was no WIFI connection  possible every day.
They didn't pick up the garbage for 4 days (even if I put it in the hall).

      
      

strawbeery youth hostel

I stayed in twin room with my friend. The room was clean and the stuff is smiley and helpful. Prices are reasonable. The only minus of the hostel, that the WiFi is only on the 1st floor. This was kind of not so good. Overall the hostel pleased me.
