Hotel located in the heart of Vienna, part of Leading Hotels. Friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant lounge and bar. Good breakfast, although it requires going outside, which might not be very pleasant in winter. Comfortable rooms, but at least in our case, with maintenance issues that are unacceptable for a hotel of this category. Having the bathtub drain flood the adjacent shower or one of the sink drains being clogged is not acceptable. Not to mention the complex system of switches, including a curious light on the window that, after much investigation, when turned off, activated some interior lights. In short, confusing technology. In conclusion, if they want to maintain their Leading status, they should properly maintain their facilities.

Schweizer maintenance in doubt

A beautiful, historic hotel with a wonderful staff and great location . Best place to stay in Vienna . Beautiful  restaurants/bar / lobby / ... Terrific staff / shout  out to Victor Rodriguez the Concierge  who did all that he could to make our stay  over the holidays a perfect experience .... Next time we're in Vienna we will stay in the Sacher..

Perfect hotel in Vienna

The worst place i have ever been to .. as what it is written in the title .. "I didn't choose it, I had to"

There is no AirConditioner !! so imagine what will happen in august.

Also whenever I ask the waiter to do something or about anything, she answers me in German ??!!!

In the heart of Vienna. It is a quiet hotel with average size rooms and bathrooms.The front desk service was a bit below average as they were not cordial. The breakfasts were excellent with a good variety of food; service was accommodating and very helpful.  

Great breakfasts

I can only speak to what I experienced in late May of 2015, and perhaps they have renovated since then.  But, the rooms were very worn and outdated in their decor, and although each room had its own bathroom, each of the bathrooms were the size of a large closet.  Literally about 30 square feet in size!  The staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was very good, the room and bath experience were not at all inviting.

Won't Stay Here Again

This hotel was prettier and cleaner than expected and way better than in the pictures . breakfast was amazing,better than five stars hotels in romania. It was so close to central attractions too. We loved the candy, the shampagne  and the expensive cheeses here. I shall come back for sure.

Best breakfast

The Schweizerhof Hotel is located in the very centre of Wien, only two minutes from St. Stephan's Cathedral. 
We stayed there only for a night in december and...we regret our stay was so short! 
Our room was nice and confortable even if not so big... 
Breackfast was exceptional, with everything you can wish. Staff very kindly and professional!
