Super-friendly and warm welcoming with welcome wines :) Everything was excellent: quiet surrounding, own parking place (included in the price), clean rooms, tasty wine, delicious breakfast and even our wish of gluten-free bread was perfectly taken into account. We could borrow their bikes, there were nice villages in a short distance. This village itself is very tiny, but still we managed to find a restaurant within a walking distance with the help of the hotel owners. The B&B has only few rooms - we had a bad luck to have a family in a next door, whose alarm ring was waking up us the whole night. The only minus in the hotel is Wi-Fi, which was a bit weak.

Warm welcome, good price & quality

Really lovely B&B.  The young couple running it are absolutely welcoming and delightful and can't do enough for you.  The setting is stunning - right at the edge of the village, which in turn is on the Danube in the wondeful region of the Wachau.  The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, you have a wine fridge on the landing which is run like an "honesty bar" and if the weather is nice, you can relax on their terrace.  Breakfast is also brilliant.  I am sorry I did not stay longer and I am definitely visiting again!

Delightful B&B in a vineyard right in the heart of the Wachau!

If you will be in this area definitely think about staying here. Friendly, quiet, peaceful, beautiful, clean, modern, spacious. The hosts were wonderful. We are sorry we only spent one night. As previously said a perfect base to explore the area. We had a car so it was perfect. Breakfast was great and we were guided to a good restaurant for dinner. One of our favorite "surprises" of our Austria trip. 

An unknown gem

The couple who own this small spot of heaven couldn't have been kinder.  The apartment would make a great base for exploring the Wachau Valley.  We only could stay one night, but they made us feel right at home.  How could we not love staying in a vineyard!  We saw how they made wine, got to taste some, and breakfast was very nice with Doris making eggs to order.  Thank you Doris and Andreas, when we bike in the Wachau next we will stay with you again!

Warm and Friendly

We stayed 3 nights in n very nice and quite appartement within wineyards. Enjoyed very good breakfast and especially outstanding & friendly hosts -
our stay included introduction in cutting wine plants, ball games with son David and bikes for free- really remarkable.

For sure we will come back and fully recommend this lovely place.

Outstanding friendly & calm

An absolutely delightful guesthouse, on the edge of the lovely small village of Wösendorf.  Doris and Andreas provide a really warm welcome, helpful and unobtrusive service and  super accommodation.

All the rooms were refurbished in 2012, to a high standard.  Doris and Andreas have bicycles which can be rented out for touring (there is a lovely, flat, smooth cycle path along the Danube - Euro Cycleway number 6 - but there is little bit of a hill up from Wösendorf to the guesthouse).

Free WiFi throughout.  A lovely terrace to sit on (in the shade).  Breakfast on the patio in nice weather (or indoors).

Their own produced wine is in a chiller on the landing.  All you do is pick a bottle and write your name on the list.

We will definitely be booking again.

The guest house doesn't currently offer evening meals, but these are available in the village (about 10 minutes gentle walk).  Either in a Heuriger (informal - about EUR 40 for 2 people, including drinks) or in a fancy restaurant (not checked, but more expensive and more formal).

Transport is good, with the WL1 bus service stopping in Wösendorf (services approx. hourly, including Saturday, Sunday and public holidays).  The WL1 connects nicely with the rail system, most notably at either end of the Wachau - Krems or Melk.

Just a bit puzzled by the address on Trip Advisor - this guest house is definitely in Wösendorf (*not* Willendorf, which is about 10km away).
