We had a big, brand new room - all tastefully furnished with a spacious bathroom and shower. The hostess is very friendly and hospitable and the breakfast was excellent with very high-quality products such as homemade juices and marmalades as well as ham, salmon and fresh pastries and much more.

Perfect room and excellent breakfast

Wonderful rooms and excellent breakfast from the finest! Urnette the hostess with lots of tips for the surroundings! Pricey for the buyer too! There are several ways in the old walls to enjoy the wine of the winery's own wine. Clear recommendation to come back!

It's not much better.

Weingut Landmayer is in a wonderful location in the wine region right along the Danube River.  The hosts were extremely friendly and the rooms are very clean and spacious.  A nice breakfast is served in the most charming room on the property. We wished we a had stayed another night.  Take a walk around this small town!

Charming  B&B in Beautiful Area

Easily the best place we stayed on our Passau Vienna cycle. Huge and stylish bedrooms, wonderful hosts, a beautiful garden and a safe and sheltered Danube swimming spot across the road (to shake off the katzenjammer after laying into their wine). Breakfast was extraordinary and included vegetables from their garden and fruit juices from their orchards. Some lovely heurige to eat and drink at within 5 minutes walk.
You must stay here.

Wish we had stayed longer

Very helpful and friendly! After we arrived they suggested some nice wineries in the Village. The room is more than nice. Absolutely worthy for this price. The location is perfect. The Danube river is across the main road. The view from the room is also nice. The breakfast is perfect! (Local ham, cheese, butter etc.) In 5 min walking distance there is a very good restauarnt and in the next street a very nice winery. More than suggested!

Perfect place to stay in Wachau

This review is long overdue!  We stayed with our wonderful hosts Silke and Tom for a long weekend and wish it could have been longer.  They went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable!  Their two rooms are nicely appointed with plenty of space and comfort.  The breakfast was delicious with many home made items by Silke including her jams (we purchased a few jars!)  They were a joy to be around and we enjoyed sharing some of their special wine with them at days end and hearing the 500 year history of their home.  They were gracious enough to take us on a tour of their wine facilities and the area. There are a few local places to eat within walking distance, we enjoyed Weingut Schwaiger more than once.  There is parking on site and bikes for your use to enjoy the nearby bike path along the river.  It was an ideal stay!  Thank you Tom and Silke!

The perfect stay in the wine country!

Excellent welcome in this well-located house, near Wien and Melk, with tastings of the property's wine, comfortable rooms, a very well-groomed breakfast by a housewife who cares for her guests, great for, for example, a visit to the imposing Melk Abbey.

Weingut Langmayer BnB was a highlight of our trip through Austria last summer. Our warm hosts took literally every opportunity to make our stay with them fun, educational and fulfilling. We learned about wine making, borrowed bikes, ate amazing breakfasts and did I mention the wine? The house and the history stretches back hundreds of years and many generations. But the accommodations are totally modern. I tell everyone heading to Europe to visit the Wachau Valley and stay in this historic BnB. 

Wonderful hosts, historic accomadations and excellent wine

Very generous room, the hostess is a traveling book and knows everything from the surroundings to be incredibly friendly. Breakfast is not to be surpassed by the blast of variety. There are free bicycles available.
