This is great farm house in Niederau, with wonderful nature view, the owners are very hospitable and friendly. everthing needed has been provided. the appartment is big and clean.you have everthing you need, you can get aggs, milk and bread for breakfast if you wish. very good location for hiking. we were in several farm houses in Austria, this was the best. we were enjoyed very much in our stay.

Graet farm house to stay

Usually we travel in Austria for ski every year. This time we wanted a wild location not so crowded, so we have chosen Wildschönau. Hartlhof is one of the best Austrian traditional place to stay in the area. The owners are really nice and friendly they had 2 kids almost the same age like ours, (3-5 years old). The rooms are clean, nice furniture, the breakfast is great, also you can enjoy some fresh local product like eggs and milk.

But the real attraction for our kids was the farm: 20 cows, rabbits and 2 ducks. every evening you can go and watch how the cows are milked and fed. You can also feed them yourself. Really nice experience for our kids, that were born and live in the city.

The local ski schools for kids are not great, we have seen better in Zell Am See. They all start on Sunday, so consider this when planning your vacation. They are unable to handle kids arriving later during the week. We did not know this before so our kids did not enjoy much the sky school.

great traditional Austrian accomodation

This is wonderful farm house in Niederau that functions as a B&B, vacation rental & fereinwohnungen. It is neat as it can be. The owners have done everything imaginable to make this place a haven. Very high quality furnishings. Everything that is needed has been provided. The family farm has recently celebrated 400 years in this town, at this location. Natural products available. Within 100 meters of the Markbachjoch gondola. I can't say enough nice things about this place.
