We stop in the hotel during our trip from Italy to Czech Republic.It was a wonderful stay from the begin, when the owner open us the door and invite us to enter, a warm and family welcome. Then ho took us to the room, wide,clean and with a little surprise...a baby bed for our daughter, unexpected and really nice from him. After a wonderful sleep a really good breakfast with fresh fruit and tasty cheese and ham,marmalade,tea,coffee and everything you need for a good wake up. We decided that this is a place that we will keep in mind for all our trips to Czech. The guesthouse is in a country place,so far from restaurant,shopping and any city activity...but was exactly what we needed!

Family stop - wonderful stay

while on the way to Hungary my son, our Weimaraner dog and I stayed just for one night. But the impression we received was First Class! Reception by the owners, room, bed, bathroom and helpful advice late in the evening as well as the magnificent breakfast, perfectly arranged by the owners left really no wish to be fulfilled. Even our night stroll with the dog was perfect, as well as the late night dinner in a near-by guesthouse. So, sorry to reveal this, we will be there more often in the future. Hopefully it is (not) fully booked....

Simply superb

I stayed at Landhaus Essl for a night while in Steyr on business. Landhaus Essl is situated a few km outside of Steyr which means it's a little off the beaten path, something I appreciate. Situated in an old farm house, the facilities have been renovated with taste. The rooms are large and have a kitchenette, which I didn't need since I only stayed for one night. Everything else I could have wanted was there as well: wifi, a flat-screen tv and a modern bath. 

Go for the breakfast. It was great!

Simply excellent

We stayed only one night, but everything was perfect.

The room was fairly large, modern and perfectly clean. Wi-Fi worked well. The location is very quiet. We did not hear anything and slept well.

Breakfast was fantastic, offering a large variety of local and home-made products. Large plates with nicely decorated food were served to our table, as well as good coffee, tea and organic juices.

The owners were very friendly and helpful to give us recommendations for our onward journey.

We usually prefer hotels in central locations. This is of course the opposite, it is as rural as it gets. We chose the Landhaus Essl due to its good reviews and convenient location between Enns and Steyr. We were not disappointed at all. We probably got a much better room and friendlier service here than we could have got in the much more expensive hotels in the centre of Enns or Steyr.

Pleasant stay in refurbished farmhouse

Very friendly and helpful owners, speaking excellent English. Everything is spotless, the rooms are superb, spacious and beautifully furnished, with individually designed and built interior - would pass in a 5* hotel. Breakfast is a real experience - we absolutely loved it. Planning to return.

HIGHLY-HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Beautifully restored old farm near (8 km) the little historical town of Steyr, in an open and quiet countryside. Our room was large and spotlessly clean. The owners are very friendly and the breakfast is amazing!
