We wanted to spend our summer holidays there, we left early. We thought nothing could be done wrong. But then it came out differently. If you want to go to the hotel, you have to go to the terrace, which would be really nice, but if you have to go back to this hotel after the trips, whatsapp, the horror. We had booked the hotel via Groupon (we had never gotten a bad hotel there before) and looked at the pictures on the website, great, so you can't make any mistakes. We thought everything was different. It's getting worse now!

This hotel is in sharp contradiction to its own descriptions in catalogues etc. Currently, the first mountain Kaprun does not even meet the minimum requirements for 1 star! Building and hygiene deficiencies wherever you see... room cleaning/housekeeping did not take place during our stay... staff is struggling but seems totally understaffed, overworked and not technically fit. The meals are mainly TK goods and bags products. Breakfast is available from 8:00 a.m.

Disastrous structural and hygienic deficiencies, poor food and overcrowded staff...

Arrived with clouds and light rain, I could not appreciate the mountain view. I arrived too early and the room was not ready yet. Even after lunch I had to wait a while because the reception was closed. The room and the bathroom are spacious and comfortable, I found the seats on the balcony but in bad weather I did not use it. Excellent and abundant breakfast. Free parking is right in front of the hotel

The weather conditions did not help me.

I came here on a school ski trip and had the worst hotel experience ever. 
-In the first night, a man who is suspected to have been part of the hotel staff, ENTERED MY SHARED ROOM and STOLE 2 iPhone 6s’s and a Apple Watch. I spent the rest of the nights feeling unsafe. Police were contacted.
-One morning we came down to breakfast at the correct time, only to find no food and the dining room unprepared because all the staff were still in bed, hungover from a party the night before.
-Bed covers had bloodstains and the mattress had brown marks all over. 
-Staff offen had parties, and the music was blasted loudly through the hotel. 
-Most staff were unpleasant and unhelpful. -The children were not allowed on balconies because the wood fence on them was weak and apparently people have fallen off from leaning on them in the past. 
I am outraged at the fact that they could not get simple things right that are extremely important, like safety of all the students, there were no signs of break ins so the robber either found his way in easily or was a member of staff. 
I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Ski trip robbery

My girlfriend and I were guests at the First Mountain Hotel Kaprun from September 22, 2017 to September 24, 2017. Unfortunately, until today, no one from the hotel felt compelled to respond to this email, which in our view was simply a total failure. Since we were not even asked how we liked it when we checked out on Sunday, we were satisfied. My girlfriend wrote an email to the First Mountain Hotel Kaprun on September 25, 2017, with everything that was there. The customer was simply not asked how we liked it when we checked out on Sunday. When we checked out the e-mail that was written on Friday, we were satisfied with what was there.

It's an incredible hoax, never again!

So we were here as a couple - it was very nice and cozy. The atmosphere was very familiar and the staff worked hard. The rooms were adequate and clean. It was a little narrow, but we were on the road all day long. We were in bed watching TV at night (over 60 shows). It was very relaxing. The food and the AI facility was excellent. There was always enough and fresh delicious food. When something was empty, we got sunshine right away. Praise the kitchen! The view and the area were lovely, a large terrace and a bar with kettles was great for the day. We'd love to come back.

Great stay and very satisfied

2 weeks (31.7.-13.08.), 2 ERv. + 2 children (10+12), in the DZ plus floor bed, all included. An impressive view of the mountains from the balcony was free. We felt more than comfortable. Our expectations were far exceeded. The food was delicious. Fresh, varied cuisine. Also for vegetarians. Here everyone finds something to his taste: every morning fresh fruit besides Müsli & Co, delicious breads, breads, etc. (see photos), with a daily soup, after lunch we enjoy a buffet and dinner at night we always get to the Cape Town Palace with very fresh salads and exquisite oils and appetizers, as well as 2 main pedestrian walks. It's a great way to get away from Dunex.

High-end hotel with great price!

We as coach drivers brought a school group for a ski trip our room was comfortable but the beds were very hard the rooms aren't serviced as such with only the bin being emptied towels are supplied but again they don't get replaced the food was ok we had a group of 63 so there wasn't always enough for the group to eat at breakfast or evening meal we made sandwiches for lunch. The hotel is served by numerous buses all going up to the ski lifts so it's a busy road there is ample parking for cars the hotel served it's purpose and took our group at short notice so I commend them for that  

Great base 

We stayed there for 7 nights, the staff was speaking only German, so it was impossible for us to comunicate with them in English.  It was wi-fi only in the bar and at the restaurant. No wi-fi in the rooms, as it has been mentioned on all the travel websites. The location is good only for people who wants to go to the glacier. Otherwise it is far from the town of Kaprun and a car is impetuos necessary. TV-set had only German TV channels.
Good points: the food was very good and diversified; the room was warm and clean.

Exclusiv hotel  for German speakers

We spent there 4 nights. There was no heating first night (outside was -2 C). There was no cleaning while we were there. The breakfast is selfserved ehich means you have to get even the cup, knife etc. and eat at a totally unprepared and empty table. You have to find a waiter (not easy) to ask some orange juice because the breakfast does not offer any drink except the really bad coffee. The staff was bored and not friendly at all although we were the first guests of the winter season.
The location is perfect so it is recommended if you are not service sensitive.
