Staying at Haus Tirol was such a great experience for us. The room was spacious, beautifully designed, fully equipped with everything we needed, and clean. We stayed with two babies and we loved having a place to sit in the room except for the bedroom when they were sleeping. The view was also wonderful. 
Thomas was a great host, so accommodating and helpful. He was genuinely nice, and made the stay even better. Plus - the breakfast was great. The breakfast area was also so pleasant, and the breakfast is diverse and tasty. Thanks for a wonderful stay

Wonderful stay!

This review is about the customer experience and not about the place since Haus Tirol cancelled my reservation done through a well known booking site using the pretext that my card payment could not be processed (almost 3 months after I made the reservation). Even though my card had no issue, I updated the payment details and messaged the property to process it again. The result: reservation was cancelled with the same reason. The property could not be contacted by me nor by Booking using the phone numbers provided (both Austria and Czech Republic), did not send the proof of denied transaction to the Booking agent and my bank confirmed that there was no request for authorization on my card. I can only be glad that they cancelled it, since I prefer not to deal with businesses having this kind of values.

Poor customer experience and communication

Clean, spacious rooms. Great welcome and departure organised by Ivana, the manager. Good breakfasts and evening bar service, including snacks. Great boot/ski room - used. Apparently great sauna - not used. Good recommendations and bookings for restaurants nearby. Although we had our own transport, bus stop just outside. Fizz and snacks left in our rooms when we got back from skiing NYE. Enjoyable visit.

Great find

We stayed for couple of nights while visiting family in Kaprun, truly family friendly hotel. 
I woild recommend rooms in higher floors with great view of Kitzensteinhor.
We also had electrically adjustable bed. Everything is very clean. I liked the breakfast, consisting of variety of things like croisants, jams, ham, eggs, cereals..
They also have sauna, dedicated room for skis, and if you are musician dont miss the room next to bar where musical instruments are:-)

Great place to stay, while skiing or hiking.

A friendly, cozy and very well located family hotel. I strongly recommend it if you love the mountains and are looking for a homey feel. Excellent breakfast buffet and a couple of extras make it a perfect choice for winter sports enthusiasts. You can store your equipment in a dedicated newly built little house where it will dry up over night. To end a day on the slopes, there's nothing better than the sauna, also new. Enjoy!! 

Feels like visiting old friends

Hello all,

every year i visited Haus Tirol in Kaprun, for some days ( summer, or winter ).. This year i reserved a couple of days in June, but at the Last moment, during the car problems in Romania, must i cancelled the stay there... I was very sad, because it is my lovely and absolutely favourite place in Kaprun... The owners - Alice and Hilbert, are the best People in this business, and the Haus Tirol with comfortable orthopaedic beds, nice view, and Excellent breakfasts, ( eggs made every morning by Hilbert personally ),make this place as the top of all...

Make Reservation as soon as possible, it is really a heaven on Earth...
