The tennis courts are very secretive and very shady. The Erlhof team is loving and friendly. Lunch on the terrace is delicious and the panorama is a dream! Whoever is looking for a quiet oasis with enjoyable possibilities is very well taken care of here.

Top Spot, a real secret tip!

The hotel is an addition to a renowned restaurant on the lake of Zell am See (which I haven't tried). My room was in the adjacent, modern structure, perhaps too much but I also think it wasn't to my taste. However the room was comfortable and quiet and the breakfast was really excellent. Very courteous staff.

Great location.

What a beautiful house... we used to live in a spacious room with great views in the old part of the hotel business, and other guests spoke highly of the rooms in the new house... which was a great location. Wonderfully fresh breakfast buffet, good food, even if the 15 points Gault&Millau did not unfold due to lack of refinement. Shame, because despite the perfect atmosphere we didn't really feel like guests, but rather as subjects to be served.

That's too bad.

We recently stayed at the wonderful little hotel, and the best thing about it was the food.  We had half board, and pleased that we did.  The a la carte is expensive, but having said that worth it.  The only down side to half board is that there is NO choice, fortunately we liked all that we were presented with.  The rooms are clean and we had room 3 which had a mezzanine bedroom.  The staff speak little English so the phrase book came in handy, that is except for Katrina who spoke good English.  If you stay there you still need to make a dinner reservation as the terrace restaurant is extremely popular
On the quieter side of he lake, but bear in mind that unless you have car the public transport to Zell am See is very very limited.

a very nice hotel and excellent food

We spent a couple of great days here. The rooms in the Panorama new building are generous and modern furnished, very clean and have a huge view. The food was just delicious, creative and varied, you just want more of it. The whole service is friendly and welcoming. We felt very, very comfortable! Thank you to the host:)

Come on, feel good!

The Erlhof is just great. The rooms, the food, the location, the private beach and the great staff. Let's start with the rooms: beautiful, partly rustic rooms, with SAT TV, beautiful bathrooms and great beds. The perfect food, and the delicious service is indescribable.

It's just perfect!

In the culinary sense, it is very good to recommend a very good kitchen. The service leaves much to be desired and the staff is not aligned and therefore not optimally placed in this category of restaurants: this leads to forgotten accessories and also to the wrong stuff, false billing and other inappropriate little things. The ambience is wonderful and for the enjoyment of the in-house bathroom guests if not for the enjoyment of the restaurant terrace. The really recommended kitchen could be improved on the terrace with a few improvements in service and ambience and it would be a great pleasure round the corner.

External astronomy

This hotel is the hammer! I find it so wonderful and I'm very happy to come to Erlhof. The staff is super kind and also very warm. The rooms are sooooo great and wonderful. Also in the new section of Erlhof the rooms are wonderful. The breakfast is soo delicious and varied. The food that is prepared by, for me, the best chefs in the world.

It's a great hotel.

It is a fact that one should take time to eat in an upscale restaurant. However, it cannot be that 40 minutes (!) pass between the greeting of the kitchen and the serving of the simple soups (no complicated pretzels). The empty drinking glasses have been ignored, no one has come to order. The insistent guest of the Nebentisches, who seems to be a wine expert, however, has also been concerned that there is already a grotesque border. After a polite - decent request from the over-crowded waiter where the soups are served, the answer is: All the guests have arrived almost simultaneously, but it takes a little less time to make a reservation.

Service quality very slowly and inattentively, waiter a disaster

...it was really the crowning of a wonderful summer day at Lake Cellar. A large, well-maintained country inn, with a surprisingly ambitious kitchen. You dare to vary the traditional regional cuisine. The result is convincing.
