I have tried the Ayurvedic treatments and they were strange but fabulous and the staff was obviously very experienced and professional.  The ambience is more like a residential treatment and rehabilitation center, so maybe  they should remove the word resort or change to a resort like atmosphere: candles, healing music, aromatherapy, and teach staff to be softer-spoken. They have an Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine  doctors who can design a program for you. They also have herbal pharmacy. One thing: change your Nestle bottled water. Nestle pays money to Israel Defense Army that kills palestinian children. Peace!!!



Ayurvedic and Chinese Medicine treatments

This "resort" is a hospital (of alternative medicine) that happens to rent out rooms. The rooms themselves are okay, about the standard of a good hostel. There was a private bathroom that worked well. The room was spacious. But the bed had no top sheet and it was impossible to know if the bedspread had been washed. In fact, there was hair on the bottom sheet of different colours so the cleanliness of the bed generally was dubious. There was no drinking water in the rooms but it was provided for free when we requested it. There was a useful refrigerator in the room. The location, near the causeway and camel farm was handy for Saudi. The staff were generally very helpful, almost apologetic. The indoor pool looked okay and we didn't see the fitness centre. The location was quiet. I can't comment on the "medicine" practised there because we were only there to sleep.  Bahrain it was a bit expensive for what it was: a room in a private hospital.

Not really a hotel

This was meant to be a hotel and it wasn't.  there was no food and a restaurant was advertised.  Walls in rooms were falling were down,  2 rooms booked and hotel only had 1.  Rats in the roof,  no breakfast available because women had only just got up!!

I will be back this winter for barbeque, I will bring my friends and co-workers. I love to stay in bahrain Wellness resort, by the way thank you for the free booking of my tickets.
