another fantastic visit - what more can I say - great hotel and with great staff.  Food = excellent - location is perfect and you can just sit on the terrace and lose time watching the people - see you next year God willing.

Another great visit

Nice building very well located. Lobby, bar and restaurant well decorated wirh a warm atmosphere. Rooms are quite comfortable but without possibilities to make coffee or tea . I recommand to stay at this hotel 

A weekend in Bouillon

On the plus side, the location and view from this lovely hotel couldn’t be better. Parking is available and I’m not sure what we would have done if it wasn’t. Our room was small but clean. There is no coffee in the room, so in the morning, we asked several employees - in our broken French - where we could find a cup. One woman told us, “In the back” and left us there. In the back of what? The woman at the front desk directed us to a restaurant next door. We headed there only to find it closed. We went back inside and she said, “Oui, ferme.” Well then why did you send us there? We are kind, tolerant, patient travelers and have never felt so unwelcome and unwanted at a hotel. Their in-room brochure states, “It’s the little things that count.” Someone needs to remind them that’s true.

Unpleasant, unwelcoming staff in a lovely location

Stayed here for one night en route to Aachen. Lovely older hotel situated in a beautiful location by the river. Room was old fashioned but comfortable and very clean with a view over the river and towards the castle. The retaurant looked amazing but we did not eat there. Had drinks at the outdoor bar and enjoyed the warm weather. Parking was available at a cost in the hotel's undergroud car park. Bouillon is a lovely little town with numerous restaurants / bars etc. It is a delightful place to explore.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful town

My wife and I spent two nights at the Hotel De La Poste. Our room was comfortable, light and airy and had a lovely view over the river to the castle and hills beyond.  An electric fan helped keep it cool in the very how weather. 

The staff were polite and helpful.

The hotel’s location is very convenient being right in the town centre. There was ample parking in the underground car park, which was very useful.

There were no tea/coffee making facilities in our room.

We did not try breakfast as the charge was some 20 Euros per person. Instead, we ate breakfast at the tea room across the square for a quarter of the price!

The main negative point was the constant thud, thud, thud of the base from the music in the ground floor bar, which made it much too noisy to have the windows open.

Great Town Centre Hotel

It's a quite good hotel well located near the Semois. They managed to keep an historical atmosphere without being oldish.
The Personnel is smiling and professional, especially at the restaurant.
The gastronomic restaurant has a limited but qualitative menu. Taste, presentation and quantity guaranteed. The breakfast is large and extremely various.
2 little things to mention however: the lack of air-conditioning made the room quite hot under this Easter sun and the TV broadcasting was often interrupted making it difficult to follow any program.

Nice place to spent a weekend

Well placed and nice hotel. Just by the river in the centre of town. Nice staff och you feel welcome. Good restaurants on site with good food. The breakfast is pretty good, though I miss some vegetables like cucumber. But this seems to be a Belgian thing. However, while the public spaces of the hotel is pretty good the rooms really would need some updating considering the standard of the hotel. Also, you should be aware that the rooms are really not sound proof. As soon as the person in the room above you moves, you can hear it. The same is the case with the doors. The bed is good though. 

Al in all, a decent hotel but there are some quirks you need to be aware about.

NIce, but rooms need update

The hotel is old and that is something difficult. It is historic and has some charme but the rooms need to be updated. This will be a challenge and maybe not possible. The main restaurant is good and the staff friendly. The new restaurant needs to have a look at the price vs. quality and also the choices. Overall we think nice but there is some work to be done. We are frequent travellers of Bouillon for many years and will continue to do so. 

Lovely food, rooms need update

Although the location of the hotel was great, for a four star hotel, the room was very basic and dated. The hotel lacked amenities such as air con and tea/coffee facilities. The parking was very expensive (€15 a night) given one time we couldn't get a space at all and the other time we had to park in the weeds. When we spoke to reception about this the lady shrugged her shoulders, said 'yes we know the car park is a nightmare' and then still charged us the full amount!

Other staff were however very helpful with other aspects of the stay.

Disappointing

This was an excellent hotel,; great location, great view from our rom on the river, clean, very nice and welcoming and accommodating hosts, especially in corona times. I want to come back and I  recommend this hotel to every one. Bouillon is beautiful and worth a visit!
