We had a comfortable ground floor room, very clean with a good sized en suite. The lounge bar & restaurant were very welcoming, also the staff ; the excellent food was well presented, with plenty of choice for every course, which was fortunate, as it was the only restaurant in the village open during our stay. Recently taken over but new management who are continuing the great standards. 
We enjoyed two good days discovering the local area. 



One of the best short breaks we have ever enjoyed.

Perfect place just few kms outside Bruges.
Great welcome in a very lovely room with a fireplace with an aperitif and very appetising finger foods.

The menu itself is spectacular with a wide range of uncommon (at least in Italy) dishes and the service is very caring.

We decided to have a set menu with 3 course meal.
All dishes were perfectly cooked, tasty and nicely presented. 

Price wise it was absolutely proportioned with what I ate. Definitely recommended

Perfect restaurant

We had booked a night stay in half board (breakfast and dinner). Our room (no. 4) was comfortable with A/C, Dolce Gusto coffeemaker, minibar, and large bathroom with a good shower, bathrobes, etc. However, the filling of the down comforter was bunched up which made the bedding lumpy in some areas and too thin in others. No problem in the summer, but probably a little cold in winter. Something to look after!
Dinner at the restaurant was excellent and plentyful, as were the wines that were included in the 'deal'. Coffee/tea were also included, so I was a little surprised that the half bottle of water was not included. 
Breakfast the next morning was on the same level as dinner: everything one could ask for and excellent quality!
Service was impeccable.
Another pro: big private parking and a covered shelter for your own bikes.

Charming hotel with excellent restaurant

We've been eaten so often already in De Goedendag & it feels each time like coming home: a nice, friendly & correct old-fashioned service & enough menu choices in order to get the right choice for 2 or more persons , everybody finds his preference in the menu. An ideal location to celebrate, enjoy & relax!

THE restaurant to eat  with pleasure, great taste  followed by a good feeling

Again I visited this super restaurant; It was full service on a Sunday. But the dishes were as fine as ever. the nice week menu brings the best to offer for a best price offer.
You can not find this elsewhere.
The good wines and excellent service and smile from all staff brings me coming back to this place.
I am never boured here.....

my favourit in town

the upstairs rooms are just right -- very comfortable and relaxing. The restaurant is impeccable with real Flemish dishes and nice fresh fish and sea food. Price is just right (using the set menus). Parking can be tight unless you are there early. Weekdays are of course more relaxing then weekends when many city regulars come over for a 2-d weekend.
