Friendly B&B in a quiet street, a short walk from the Markt, with three rooms. We stayed in the blue room.
Parking ‘t Zand, EUR 8,70 per day, 5-7 minutes walking.
Payment in cash only.
Large, nicely decorated room with separate shower and toilet.
Breakfast was tasty. There was one big table for all the guests.
Sometimes there was a smell of cigarette smoke in the room.
During our three night stay, room was not cleaned.

Great location

Nice B&B by the river. Rooms are clean with lovely views and en suite facilities. 5 minute walk into the City. 2 hour limit to park in the street so follow signs around the corner to the tZand underground carpark, only 8 Euros per day. The hostess is delightful, serving a sumptuous continental breakfast with boiled eggs if required. No cards accepted so be pepared to settle the bill in cash. Would definately book here again if we come back to Bruges.

Clean and comfortable

I picked this B&B mostly because of the price, location, and because it was peak season, and all of my top choices were booked. 

I will say that overall, our stay was adequate, but did not exceed any kind of expectations. The place was clean and in a good location - about a 10 minute walk from the center of Bruges.  There was a continental style breakfast that was adequate, but if you wake up late, you might find yourself out of luck.  We came to breakfast 15 minutes late one morning only to find that most of the cheese and breads were gone. When asked for more, we were told that these items would NOT be refilled. 

There are about 4 levels in the building, and no elevator, so be prepared to lug your bags up many, many flights of stairs.  The website indicates free internet connection, but we found it to be unreliable and slow.  The web site also indicated that you can be picked up from the train station with some notice, but that didn't turn out to be the case. We asked in advance and were told to call again when we arrived at the train station.  When we did arrive, she said she was "too busy".  

The price is average. The further you are from the center of town, the cheaper the price. All things said, it was an ok experience.  If you're just interested in a place to sleep and not much more, you won't be disappointed. If you were hoping for charming and personable service, look elsewhere.
