As everyone mentions and i went on the basis of reviews, here i am writing with my own experience that Katrien is a fabulous host. She makes you feel really welcome since the moment you arrive, give nice tips to make most of your time and ready to help you with anything. I liked the vibe of her beautiful house, it was a pleasant stay.

This B&B is unbelievably beautiful, well entertained and clean. The owner Katrien reserves each guest a very warm welcoming. She would be generous in advices and solutions for a wonderful stay. The possibility of parking the car in their garage is a plus. The breakfast is very good and so nicely served, but I found it a little expensive, especially for the kids. Thank you and looking forward to our next short stay in Bruges!

Excellent overnight stay for tourism in Bruges

Highly recommended. House is beautiful and the room for 4 was very spacious with a lovely bathroom. Hosts were very helpful and had loads of great recommendations. We arranged parking with them beforehand which was secure and really useful. Great base - easy walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. Perfect stay!

Perfect stay

The rooms were lovely and clean, spacious and we had a great view over the garden. The host Katrien was lovely and gave us a lovely warm welcome after a long journey to Bruges. 
The location is great too, so close to all the main attractions in Bruges. 
The beds are so comfy after a long day walking. We cannot fault the hotel at all and would highly recommend to anyone travelling to Bruges to stay

Great stay

I couldn't have been happier staying here. Katrien was a great hostess, and had the perfect personality to run a business such as this! Great recommendations for food (the oldest pub in Bruges was awesome, from 1515 - Herberg Vlissinghe), activities (bike rentals, biking to Damme)...everything you would want to know about Bruges, then Katrien had a recommendation or great advice. The room (Superior Suite) was even bigger than I anticipated, and for a family of four (two big teenagers included), we had plenty of room, especially if you know European hotel rooms. The suite looked like it was recently updated, and was clean as a whistle. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and a great way to start the day. Thank you, again!

Great stay - especially with a family of four!

My husband and I stayed in the Superior Park view suite for 3 nights earlier this month and could not be happier with the experience. This was the best accommodation in our entire trip. The room and bathroom were huge. All was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and so comfortable. Our room was also extremely quiet. We didn't hear the hosts' family, other guests or street noises. We had our first good sleep at Huyze Weyne (we had already been travelling for a few days). The location was perfect for us. Just a short walk to the centre of town and all the attractions you would want to visit. We mostly enjoyed just wandering the town and taking in the wonderful architecture and delightful ambiance of Bruges. We had a rental car when we arrived in Bruges and Huyze Weyne was able to provide us with parking and the home's location near to the ring road was very convenient for us.

The real gem of Huyze Weyne is Katrien, the owner. She and her husband made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and Katrien was so helpful in providing us with a map, several recommendations of things we might want to do and generally helping us get oriented. I had wanted to dine at Guillaume, but thought it was closed during the time of our stay. Katrien gave them a call and secured a reservation for us that night. We had an amazing meal so asked her for recommendations for our next two dinners. Her suggestions for Brasserie Raymond and De Republiek resulted in more wonderful dining experiences.

We very much enjoyed Bruges and our stay at Huyze Weyne. I was rather sad to leave, it was all so lovely.

For those planning a stay in Bruges, chose Huyze Weyne - you will be so glad that you did.

My husband and I have just stayed here for 4 days beautiful large, clean very well decorated room. Katarina is lovely gave us a map as soon as we arrived and showed us places to visit etc well worth a trip to this B&B

Mini break

My husband and our two teenage children stayed in a beautiful, clean, well decorated/furnished room. The B&B was lovely and the lady who owns the property is a delight, giving us very useful information to help us make the most of our stay. We can not fault our stay here and would recommend staying at Huyze Weyne to anyone wishing to visiting beautiful Bruges.

Execllent.

Excellent location, host was very helpful and very friendly, room was beautiful (and big) and spotless. We loved the decor and the shower was fab. Hairdryer, toiletries and towels all provided. We had reserved parking which was private and secure for 10 euros a day. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent all round!

First of all, Katrien is a wonderful hostess. Friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice too. So nothing personal.

However unfortunately when we stayed there was a strong, unpleasant smell in our room. We believe it was mould. Appreciate that it is difficult to do something about (we discussed it when we left) - the room is recently refurbished and looks very fresh - but it did make our stay less nice. We stayed three nights and for the price we paid it was not ok. There are so many nice, less expensive B&Bs and hotels in Bruge so we would not stay again. Sorry.
