Cold and the heater in the room not working, and the window not fixed to the wall (the whole window and frame came away from the wall when I opened the window).  Smells damp. Infested with bed bugs, their faeces all over the head board and one visibly just sitting there, I'm covered in bad bites. I like my hotels simple but this place is a disgusting dump.

Just checked into this hotel and left immediately. The room, whilst clean, was in a state of disrepair and the bathroom quite frankly looked unsafe. Additionally, for a hotel that claims non smoking rooms they smelled very strongly of tobacco and damp. The place would benefit from a serious renovation. If you're looking for somewhere to simply crash for the night and don't mind absolute basic facilities this will probably be sufficient, but for us it was just disturbing. Went to reception to ask for partial refund and were told they don't refund bookings, so we cut our losses and left - it seems that they know they're not providing what they advertise on the websites. My main concern when looking for hotels during my trips is the price and often times I find that reviews are extremely harsh so I usually book and formulate my own opinion. Hotel Bentley was in a pretty good area with lots to do and the price was definitely right so I decided to book.

When I arrived early, the lovely young lady working gave me two rooms to go and look at so I could check in early which I thought was so nice. I had a pleasant experience with all the staff as a matter of fact. They were all friendly.

The room was exactly what I expected it to be. Basic, worn out, but suitable for what I wanted. The bed was comfy enough, there was two gigantic windows which allowed for fresh freezes to come in. Yes there was a lot of street noise but I didn't mind it. It wasn't the cleanest looking place or the newest looking place but I wasn't expecting the Ritz Carlton for the price I paid.

Ultimately, I would probably book here again. As I said, the staff was lovely, the room suited its purpose, and there was a lot close by. Plus, the bus directly to the airport was minutes away.

Good for the Price

we stayed in the bentley as a last resort, it was advertised as hotel rogier so it took some finding. Not sure if there were any fire precautions as all the stairwell doors had no closers. room was old and tatty, walls were thin, clean but tired and expensive at 110 euros for 1 night. the hotel smelt of smoke.

Stayed for three nights because the hotel offers secure parking, while still being cheap and relatively central. Parking was in back courtyard and very secure. Room on 5th floor was very basic, but with a nice rear view and surprisingly quiet day and night. The furnishings were very Spartan and it needed a vacuum. But it wasn’t dirty, the bathroom and shower were fine, and it served its purpose. The front desk staff were friendly and certainly helpful. Wifi worked well. Some reviews have described the neighbourhood (predominantly Turkish) as sketchy but it really isn’t. 65 euros a day for 3 days including parking? Fine.

Basic but doesn’t deserve such negative reviews

For us, this hotel served its purpose just fine. nothing fancy there. It's old and worn out yet it gives you a shelter for the night at a reasonable price. It is not far from the centre so the location is alright.

Room: just disgusting in my opinion it's not even a penny worth

Owners: We booked a room for 20 euro and have pay 75 euro and we didn't sleep there because it was that dirty. we where  told we that we didn't have to pay and still we have.

advice: do not go there. because they will ripped you off one of the most disgusting places. it is just **** BAD!

BAD, DIRTY, DISGUSTING

This is the most PUTRID, SLEEZY, UNHYGIENIC hotel I have ever stayed in and I literally just finished up backpacking through ASIA in much much cheaper accommodation but much better hotels. Let me break it down for you all at home so you DONT make the same mistake we did. This hotel certainly has your best interests at heart (not).

Wanting to start your very own science project but haven't had the time? Well don't miss this opportunity because the bathrooms look like they've never been cleaned - mold is growing up the shower walls and the taps have long since rusted over. Take a closer look at the drain and you'll see clogs of other people's pubic hair peaking out from below, maybe an STD or two if you're really lucky. When I discovered the tiny leeches in the bottom of the shower AND the large shards of glass, the excitement of it all overcame me and I simply had to leave there and then.

Night owls are welcome here because you probably don't ever want to get in the bed! The bed squeels like there is no tomorrow and we didn't trust that linen one bit - looks like it had only been fluffed up (not washed) since the last guest. A literal swam of infections just waiting for its next guest.

Walls are literally paper thin - awesome if you love snooping on your neighborhoors. I could hear the guy across snoring, and the guy next to us watching to football. Let's just add in the occasional prostitute pretending to enjoy a session with a client in the next room and you will have a plethora of sounds to keep you company.

Decor of the room was on point - my favorite was the handprints from previous guests on either side of the wall mirror. Hmmm wonder how those got there. Guess that's the norm for a 'pump and dump' hotel if you get my drift. 

Non-smoking? Get your asthma puffers ready ladies and gent because this place REEKS like the back of bar. You have to keep the windows open to the noisy street below if you want normal air.

Hotel staff just put the cherry on thDecore cake as well, we LOVED being ignored when we arrived. The manager was not welcoming at all, to the point of actually being hostile towards us (we are two tiny 5'3"can females in our early 20s, we are literally no threat at all).

Oh, did I mention it's in a bad part of town? Definitely not safe for two young females at night and it's filthy, just downright filthy. 

If you're thinking you'll down your sorrows with some free WiFi and watch some good old Netflix, think again - it literally doesn't work.

Good luck to any who choose to forsake themselves by booking here, I do suggest you simply forget about the money you've lost to this and book yourself a lovely Airbnb (like we should've done). Get yourself a penicillin and tetanus shot while you're at it.

UNHYGIENIC, PUTRID, AND SLEEZY HOTEL

Even though personnel was very kind, this was by far the saddest accommodation experience ever. 
Filthiness everywhere & hygienically dangerous conditions. 
I left the room 5' upon arrival. I could not breathe, the air in the room hadn't been refreshed for a long time and it was unbearably smelly. 
Lock was broken, so door could not be locked from the inside.

Sad and disappointing accommodation experience.

Reading through the other reviews here, it seems I have had the exact same experience as most. Thus, I won't repeat everything that has gone before. 

The key takeaway from a stay here is just how dirty the room is. I have no idea how it is possible to maintain the level of detritus on display. I can only assume the hotel employs a team of staff to moult frantically, deposit dust and slowly tease hard furnishings from their fixtures to keep the rooms at this impressive state of disrepair. 

Save on costs. Employ a decent cleaner.
