The owner is a cute old man :)  a lil bit fierce at first but he is so cute. We got the third floor, it's quite high up. Love the breakfast and  the furnitures. The stairs is a bit steep and small  not suitable for big bags? I love it and it is so near to the town.

The room does not correspond with the pictures. When we arrived at 3p.m, the room was not ready. The owners were not very pleasant. We had an old room where we had to climb a dangerous ladder in order to get to our bed. There was almost nothing in the frig for breakfast. We were very disappointed, even if it was for only one night. Never again this type of old ........

Not worth the money

We were very happy with the choice of booking here. 

The location was very good - nice neighbourhood, 3mins to the metro station, 20mins to the railway station (Gare du midi - on the way you can see the Porte de Hal) and around 30mins to the city centre - might be less but we didn't always take the shortest route. There is a "foreign restaurant area" close by, around 5 mins, as you walk towards Louise Avenue, which itself, is a shopping district. There was a night shop very close and a restaurant right next to the hotel entrance.

The owner, an elderly person, was very nice when receiving us - he offered us a chocolate bar, a map and suggested where to go; furthermore, on the last day we informed him that we would leave very early in the morning, around 5.00 AM, and that evening we were delightfully surprised that "breakfast" was hanging on our door knob.

 Wi-Fi was great, no problem. The stairs leading up to the room were pretty narrow and some might have issues when carrying heavy luggage or to those with motor skill problems. In the kitchenette, we found some cold meat in the fridge, jams, butter, cheese and a bag with bread and croissants was given every morning. We also found coffee and tea. The room was cleaned and fresh towels provided everyday.

Even tough the room was basic - standard double bed, wardrobe, clean big bathroom - it had a certain authentic vibe that was very pleasant to come back to after a long day of sightseeing.

In conclusion, I am more than happy if I'm able to find similar places at such a great price in the future.

Cosy room with great atmosphere

This place is a hidden gem in the city. Location wise is pretty good, 20 minutes on foot from Midi station and about 25 minutes walk to the Grand Place.  The metro stations are 5-10 minutes walk from the property but I prefer to be on foot more. There are also shops around the property which is convenient to get some food and drinks. The owner was not around when I arrived, but he did left me the key (although my name was written incorrectly ;) ). I am very impressed with the size and the condition of the room. The price of my stay is very good for traveller like me, a student. The room is clean and I like the very Belgian deco of the room. The room feels like home. I like the fact that there is a small kitchen in the room with a fridge filled with chicken slices, hams, butter, cheese and orange juice. Fresh bread and croissant are delivered by the owner every morning for me to make my own sandwich. In addition, the wifi is in a very good speed. The owner of the property is an extremely nice old man. He gave me a dark chocolate and explained to me how to consume dark chocolate so it could help in reducing heart problems. I am a female solo traveller. I feel safe in this area. I would recommend my friends who would like to visit Brussel to stay in this property.

A place that feels like home

It is very basic. You have a clean and well organized room . The bathroom is ok . It's really worth it price. 
Everything could have been perfect if only the landlord didn't make inappropriate comment to me . He was trying to be nice. He wasn't happy about something which was my fault but his fault . 
Well, he is old so..
Except that , it's a very nice hotel with every thing  you may need . The remarks are the same as the others. Breakfast at the door in the morning
