stayed for 3 nights the host is very friendly and helpful food was excellent more like a apartment would definitely recommend this b and b was near to metro as you come out look for the castle which is at the end for the street the b an b is on

This place was recommended by another B and B- it was very well priced, but a little out of the centre. The owners were really friendly and accommodating, offering advice about the area and how to get around. The room was huge and well decorated, with a good cold breakfast.

Lovely well priced B and B

We visit Brussels quite often, so we are always in to find a good b&b to return to. This time we definitely found one. We love the neighbourhood, which is vibrant and multicultural and with lots of 'art nouveau'. You find these elements also in the mansion of B&B Aquarelle, the lovely stained glass windows for example. The rooms are spacious and spotless with a private bathroom and really good mattresses. Be aware you have to climb some stairs to reach these wonderful rooms! The breakfast was served in a nice living room with some seasonal decoration and a lovely lamp. There was also a stained glass window. The food called us downstairs with the smell of the freshly baked croissants and 'pain chocolats'. We could also get some extras like boiled eggs and cheese. The host Nicholas was very friendly and helpful.This is a gem to come back to.

Great found at 'Saint-Gilles'

This is a lovely place, quiet and well located. The rooms were massive with a living room as well as a bedroom. It was immaculately clean. Breakfast was lovely and the hosts were really helpful. I will stay here next time I'm at that end of Brussels

Great place to stay

About a decade ago I lived in St. Gilles for half a year, and became very fond of this part of Brussels. So every now and then my wife and I go back to see whether it is still alive and kicking. This time we chose the Aquarelle B& B, which is centrally located in the area. We enjoyed the spot, the lovely stained glass windows, and the nice breakfast. We had a very pleasant stay!
