Stayed one night en-route to Germany, very convenient from Channel Tunnel!
As described in other reviews, this hotel occupies half of an elegant old building in a fab position in De Haan.
Very friendly check-in, comfortable, quiet room, slept well, pleasant breakfast; everything one hopes for!
Would happily return.

Very good small hotel in great location

We have been to this hotel several times now, in all cases off-season.  I return becuase it has car-parking, it is very close to the tram stop and centre of the town, the rooms are good and there is a good breakfast in the morning.
In the winter months it is fairly quiet and you may have to wait a couple of minutes for someone to come to check you in.  You then can use your key for the front door as well as your room.
Breakfast is in a large front room which has been knocked through to a back room so there is a good spaciousness.  There is a good spread of meats, cheeses, preserves etc.
We have always found everyone there to be helpful and look forward to our next stay.

Very good location

This hotel is easily reachable by road with its own parking and is only a few yards from the De Haan tram stop.  It is between the town centre and the beach so a very good location.
The current owners have been in place for about a year and during that time it has been redecorated and significantly improved.
It is half of an older-style building and has a grand breakfast room with lovely views towards the town centre.  More importantly the breakfast buffet is excellent.
There is a selection of rooms, a couple of smaller ones at lower prices which are fine for short stays and several larger ones.  Many of the rooms face to the garden at the back so are very quiet.

A good location for the coast

The hotel is very good. The value for money is excellent. It has only two stars, but I think that it is almost three stars. Breakfast is good. Very close to the city center. Quiet.

The hotel has WiFi, but I could not receive it in my room.

Good

This hotel is half of an historic building and it is located very close to the town centre, tram stop and tourist office.  There is some parking available.
We went very soon after new owners had taken over.  They had started re-painting, re-doing woodwork and generally updating.  As it was late winter there were few other guests.  Consequently we probably didn't see it at its best but were still very happy with our stay.
The breakfast was superb and very relaxing in the large breakfast room.  This room was only for breakfasts and was not a restaurant serving lunch or dinner but there are several restaurants close by both in the town centre and towards the sea-front.
