The hotel and restaurant were clean, secure and comfortable. The hotel and restaurant staff were knowledgeable, pleasant, respectful, helpful and supportive. My stay was unplanned and I landed on my feet. What was apparent was that people from 30-40 miles away were here because of the great food and the very professional service The guy in one of my photos is André He made my stay and whole experience most memorable Very good value for money Highly recommended

Very good place to saver a Orval and the local Cheese , the crossroad into France and Germany,well worth a stop 
Great place to start a hike in the Forest or just relax and let it all sink in .Visit the Orval monastery

Hidden gems in the Ardennes

We went for a last minute hiking weekend and called the hotel for a room the night before. They confirmed that there is a room available, that the price is 65€ and that the dog is allowed. At our arrival, surprise: the room in the main house was given to someone else so we had to be in another house, less nice and more expensive, and also, we had to pay for the dog. I don't mind the price but honesty should be a minimum. We tried to make the best out of it. Our room was OK. Not new or anything special (and not authentic farmhouse as we expected). We didn't have a place in the restaurant for the evening and went to another town. We also didn't take the breakfast because there were only tables outside available. In the end, we didn't see much of the old farm and are dissapointed of the lack of hospitality in general.

One night stay - no hospitality

It is very nice place for actually cheap price. Our room was clean and pretty, maybe a little modest but we also had king size bed :) So no problem. Bathroom was also ok.
The most awesome in this hotel is restaurant - beautiful. Meals was super tasty, and beer good and cheap <3 Also breakfast was nice surprice - for 10 euro we got a great selection of breads and additives.
This hotel had good localization, it is close to everywhere. Nice, small village with beautiful view at the river.
