Hostel 47 is close to the city center, nice place to stay, cozy and clean, the breakfast was so good and Youri is an EXCELLENT host, theres are some table games for entertainment, without no doubts I would always go there if I go to Gent.

Nice place

Stopped as a group of 12 last week, had everything we could wish for. Youri was a fantastic host with an interest in our trip and made us feel very welcome. The hostel was just a 10 minute walk into town and just 30 min walk from the nearby free park and ride at Weba/Decathlon, meaning it was a nice easy stay for all involved.

Brilliant location, spotlessly clean, great facilities

Stayed two nights in mixed dorm and had a really great restful stay, exploring Ghent.

Reasonably priced, the hostel is well located to walk to the station and all the sights, bars etc

Staff were great on my arrival, immediately taking time time to help orientate me in the city and give advice on where to go etc.

My bicycle and bags were put into a locked garage for my stay.

The hostel is modern, clean and bright with a really lovely kitchen, common area and garden patio complete with lounging area, bean bags, BBQ etc. 

Thr dorms were really comfy bunk beds, new mattresses and were not too cramped in.  Lockers were provided, power sockets to each bed.  I slept really well despite the heat as the door could be opened to a balcony for ventilation.

Breakfast was fantastic - cereals eggs toasties tea coffee etc all included in the price and better than  i have been served in a hotel

The owner was often on hand chatting to guests and his staff and took a real interest in things running well, making sure it was clean and tidy and giving advice. 

I totally recommend this hostel.

Fantastic hostel. 

This place is one of the best Hostels we visited in the last years. The location is central with a five to ten minutes walks to the Old City Centre which is very close to bars and restaurants. The owner and staff at the establishment ensure that you enjoy your stay. The hostel includes breakfast on the go. Free Wi-Fi, linen is included as well and the establishment is clean and has a great feel to it. Thank you Youri for an amazing stay at Hostel 47.
There is no other place to stay in Ghent. Their check out time is 12 noon everyday. 
We will definitely be back in Ghent and Hostel47!

Amazing STAY in Ghent

I stayed here for 3 nights and was not disappointed. We were met by the owner yoori who was very helpful with suggestions on things to do and see. We ended up chatting for an hour. The hostel is clean and modern with a smart layout. The showers and toilets are just outside the room which meant we weren’t woken by flatmates having early morning showers.   I will definitely be back 

Great place to stay

Nice cosy place close by the city center, relaxed atmosphere and great breakfast, the host is a social guy and guests are a mix of ages, we had 2 saves in a 6 pers dorm, some extra lockers would be great, see you next time
