Secluded setting. A  perfect place to stop if you are heading into Germany, Spacious rooms, discrete parking. Congenial ,charming and efficient hosts. The restaurant  is good fine dinning . For me the lamb was  a tad over cooked, but thats a personal thing. This is a  good place.

To be greeted at the door with...you must be Mrs Jones Welcome.. talk about make you feel welcome. We were shown our room by a very nice gentleman. Offered a table for dinner and the food is fab
 Started off with a moush bouche of celery  soup...cauliflower mouse .....escargots. Washed down with Verve...yummy. Main course was beautifully cooked salmon...asparagus...yummy.  All finished of with a desert of warm strawberries and ice cream...brulee. Awesome. Attention to detail is second to none. Stunning surrounding area of a small lake. 

Warm welcome

The building is wonderful and the garden beautiful. It's perfect to get some rest and relax. There's not a lot around, so make sure you have a car.
When checking in someone from the kitchen came to help us and provide us the room numbers. He was friendly, and asked us when we wanted to have breakfast the next day. Since we were 6 friends lodging there he indicated they would make sure there's a table of 6 at breakfast.
The room was very nice and spacious. Before preparing for diner I wanted to do some ironing. I went downstairs couldn't find anyone. After 15 minutes, finally someone came out of the kitchen, indicating they did not have an ironing device... I asked her if she was sure, as I couldn't imagine a restaurant/hotel not having an ironing device. But she said they didn't have any...
At night, we wanted to close the curtains and realized there weren't any... the windows could be blinded by closing the plastic stores. However... at 6.30am, we were right awake because the sun was shining... so quite disappointing if you went to bed late. In the morning at breakfast, there was no one, there was no table for 6 as promised the day before. Breakfast itself was ok (different orts of bread, cheese, on hard boiled egg, ... but the amount of orange juice was ridiculous, I don't think we had more than 10cc in our glass. And there was nobody to ask for some more orange juice or hot chocolate.
I also couldn't find the hairdryer, although at check-out they assured there was one and I just didn't look well....
Anyway, nice building, but service is not satisfactory and it was not worth the price. It gave me the impression that the owners don't care much about the hotel part and are only interested in the restaurant.
