We had an excellent weekend stay at this lovely hotel in the very chic resort of Knokke-Heist. The hotel appears recently renovated to a high standard. Our room was modern and clean and we chose a sea view. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. We ate in the seafood restaurant one evening (expensive but delicious). The sky bar was amazing. All the staff in the hotel were helpful and friendly.

Very nice place to be, fresh fish and fruit de mer, perfect service. Good wines and Champagnes.

Everything you want from a hotel in Knokke Zoute. 
Great location near the seaside and shops.
Rooftop bar is a recommendation for a drink in the afternoon or evening.
Nice rooms and jummy breakfast with all kinds of food!


Great hotel! 

Spacious room a bit oldfashioned, bathroom has been redone, no service at all in the breakfast room, you stand in line to serve yourself a coffee, horrible place so disappointing. Worth it is Palace restaurant where food and service are good

Good location but needs to rethink their breakfast room

We eat at the Seafood restaurant during our stay. On the 25th of Dec there was a family group of 25 people and they were so loud that it was a very unsuccessful experience for us. The staff was supporting the big group of people of course, but we left after the decibel meter was average over 92DB! So little respect of this group! Never again we wil eat there!

Despite its excellent location, the hotel, with its nice facade, doesn't show the same standing inside. The design is poor, outdated or cheap, my bedroom was not clean. The whole hotel would need attention and care  to regain its previous glory and name of "palace", it become a destination hotel it deserves.

This hotel deserve better care

We booked the hotel for a two-day visit to Knokke. We arrived at the hotel around 1 pm and fortunately could already use the pre-booked parking space. The room would only be ready at 4 pm, and we understood that and had no problem with it. We wanted to go for a walk and have lunch anyway. The hotel is located very centrally in the center, close to nice stores, restaurants, and the boulevard. Around 6 pm back in the hotel to pick up our room key. We booked the room on the hotel website and confirmed with an AMEX credit card. At check-in, they told us they don't accept AMEX. Strange that you do accept AMEX on your own website for the reservation and then not at check-in.
Anyway, I wasn't in the mood for a discussion. Paperwork was put in order, not a word was exchanged, and the lady behind the front desk clearly hated her job. At least that's how she looked. When everything was ready, she told us that we could only use the first breakfast shift and that this shift stops around 9 am. No further explanation or options were negotiable. I fully understand the covid measures but then leave the time choice for breakfast with the customer during reservation. Now we paid for breakfast without having breakfast. Our Ocean View Room on the 3rd floor had recently been partly renovated and had a new carpet and a new bathroom. I don't know if it applies to all rooms, but our room had no air conditioning. If you have a room at the hotel's front (sea view), you have to be prepared for a lot of noise in the early morning. The rooms could definitely be cleaned better. The Skybar on the 5th floor is perfect for drinks. The staff in the Skybar is very friendly. I understand that it has been a difficult time for hotels, but be extra cheerful and welcoming when your guests come back.

Life is a lot more fun when you smile

The hotel is in a perfect location .. not far from shops, the beach, getting around in Knokke. Great outdoor parking .. but the hotel is dated. The door of the room did not work proper … opening en closing … doorlock was broken. Toilet was to small, I had to leave the door open will sitting. Bathroom is basic. Beds  and linnen are okay. Breakfastlady was supper … the food okay, not special. We just visit for 1 night … that's just fine.

Weekend in Knokke

Great location, very central, nice views on the beach. 
Rooms are very old and old fashioned. Doorlock did not funtion, no safety chain, tiny bathroom with very good shower. 
Welcome desk staff very friendly and helpful. 
Roomservice staff quite the opposite, ordering was apparently not what they were expecting. Had to wait 1hr15 for a tea, went to get it myself.

No true passionate hoteliers here, shame, could be fantastic considering the location
