Booked via Booking.com, gave an approximate arrival time ( given we were traveling from England) of 17:00, arrived at 17:07 to be told our rooms had been let out as we were late. I explained that we were only a few minutes late, but the manager was rude and dismissive and said we would have to find somewhere else to stay. Luckily we managed to find a nearby hotel.

Terrible

It is a 2 star hotel and That is about all that is to say about it. The rooms are old the furniture is completely out of time. It is not worth the mony at all. Please spend Some more money for higher quality . The location is suite good close to the city center.

Shabby place

Very typical hotel for this region. Very friendly staff, restaurant was very decent and especially very cheap hotel at an extraordinary location. Good place to stay if you look for something cheap near the centre.

Typical ardens

Together with two other blokes we arrived in La Roche tired and weary after riding our motorbikes most of the day. The staff were very friendly offered us use of underground cellar to keep bikes dry but doorway too narrow to get bikes through. The upper rooms are accessed by a narrow wooden spiral stair case. This would prove impossible for anyone with mobility issues. My room had a double bed that had seen better days a bedside lamp that was u/s and a rather grubby carpet. There was a wash basin, no shower. The toilet was down the way, The friendliness of the staff raise this from a two star to three. Having said that, the other rooms were en suite and of a higher standard.

Quirky hotel, friendly staff

we spent ages driving around the town looking for a cheap hotel and we came across this one yes its nothing special but i have stayed in worse.the hotel was basic and as we were only staying 1 night that wasn't a problem to us.  the bedroom was small but it had what we needed a bed. the bathroom was actually very big, must depend on the rooms. breakfast was good and so was the coffee. there was also free parking outside on the road.
the owner was a nice guy.
no idea who was in the room across from us but it sounded very busy like they were having a party.
