The caravan park it’s self was good, food was lovely in the restaurant. Swimming pool and indoor beach was fab for kids. Few parks around the camp. Caravan was very basic, not much room In the bedrooms at all. Wasn’t many English/Welsh people there more of a local holiday place for Belgium I would say. Staff didn’t speak much English or neither was there anything translated into English for us to read (menu) signs In the park ect, all entertainment was in Dutch (Thank god for goggle translate) 

I would definitely recommend taking your own pillows thank god we did as the pillows did smell of sweat 🫣 there wasn’t any mattress covers either. 

I suppose what we paid for a week was what you got - basic, average 
Not much around the park if wanted to go out for a walk some where.

Average weeks stay

The cabin was clean but old and tired , everything worked in it ,the beds was not luxury but OK,. The area needs to be upgraded all over. Its old . At the restaurant There was only one person working when we came. She didnt speak english ,so our order was misunderstood..and we had to wait very long to Get the food and that was not a gourmet meal. The shop had very litle offer, but fresh bakes bread every morning. Some of straff was helpful ,some of them not even trying to make you feel welcome. Ok if you want A cheap place to Stay  for some days doing things other places than there

Basic but ok.

We are on a motocross holiday visiting tracks in Belgium and Holland, so wanted somewhere to sleep for the week.
The campsite has no facilities apart from a washroom, but the lodgings were clean and the water hot so was ideal for us to use as a base to visit the surrounding area. 
The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The shop was only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday which is not very helpful when you arrive Sunday night!

Basic but clean

Verry poor acommodation. Trailers are very old, rooms and beds very tiny. When I look at safety, the trailers do not appear to be fire safe.
This camping is what the say in ducth "Een tokkie camping". You better spend your money elsewhere, because it's very certain you'll get more value for your money somewhere else.

Very Poor acommodation

The food was absolutely freezing and they did not give us the food we wanted, the showers were also freezing so i had to use a warm shower but with no lock on the door. Washing machines did not work either.

Terrible 

We went to this camping with 5 friends as we thought it would be fun to stay a night together here, play some games and enjoy the facilities. Boy were we wrong and I am so sorry I did not read reviews here before I went.

When we arrived, there was 1 person in front of me at reception. They were French speaking... but the receptionist did not speak a word of French. 

Luckily she spoke English - so she could at least check me in... but that procedure was literally giving me 1 key, 1 map and accepting my payment. 

It was only when we found the 'mobile home' that we found out she forgot to give us sheets for our beds; so we returned to reception... got the sheets and returned to the accommodation. When we unpacked the sheets, 2 of the 5 sheets were full of stains and mold. How can this happen? We had to return to reception AGAIN to get new sheets... We lost an hour on this process alone... bad start.

Looking closer at the mobile home, it was a COMPLETE mistake to book this. We can live with old fashioned, but not with dirty, unhygienic and broken facilities inside and outside the mobile home.

To make the experience even worse; our neighbor was apparently a permanent resident and had a big dog that was barking all night long, so the sleep quality was the same as the whole experience with the holiday park.

Do yourself a favor please and STAY AWAY - let a professional group take it over and redo it completely because I don't think Oostappen Groep is caring a lot about this specific park.

Worst accommodation ever

We ve stayed for the weekend and im glad its over. Poor dirty caravans with fungus everywhere. Polish ro. Anian and slovakian workers all around the place. Not a safe feeling as they keep on staring at your wife. Worst camping i ve ever visited. My advice dont go there!

Disaster

Before coming I read the tripadvisor comments and I thought that people exaggerated a lot but what I have experienced this week has been horrible. There are a lot of Polish, Romanian, Slovakian workers in caravans and bungalows and most of them are scary. We thought we could bathe in the lake and there is only a handful of dirty water. In the bungalow the TV is like 30 years old and all is dirty. 

And the worst of all, the stupid staff there is, especially the old blonde girl who is controlling the entrance from the office. She shouts me and my family because he said we snuck and she won’t let us in. Ridiculous. I don’t know how they want to win customers with that character. I do not know if she is bitter or bored. Incredible. No respect.

I have not seen a smile in the whole week. When we left the camping , no words by the staff, neither thank you or good travel. Nothing. 

We wanted to finish the week fast. 

Horrible, I do not recommend it to anyone and everything very dirty and left. That is a camping or a ghetto? It seems that is an old and abandonded camping. Better called the “haunted camping”. I attached photos 

I stayed in a lot of campings around Europe and this is the worst i have ever been.

Never more. Stupid staff. Ghetto.

Old damaged houses, tv not working, smells like in swamp. One of employee who lives inside one of those lodgings, came to us just after arrival with complains that oir children were staying and not sitting on the couches inside. I bet that he use binoculars to see that... He also called to another of his colleague to tell that we have a dog with us. We have chosen this camp because dogs were welcomed there....  Another problem for them was that 1,5 old kid is threated as adult person. They wanted to force us to pay 215 euro for another 6 persons lodging. At the end we had to pay just for dog and the infant. Complete lack of  privacy, lot of drunk construction workers who stays there signing around 1am. They advertise swimming pool in the camp. It is 40km away.
