Perfect overnight stay . Beautiful rooms with a lovely outlook onto a lovely garden and pool. Would be great to be here in good weather to be able to use the pool or just relax in the garden. The host is extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. There's a small area where you can help yourself to coffee and tea plus a fridge with wine , beer and soft drinks.  Breakfast was lovely too. We would definitely recommend staying here. 

Beautiful B&B

Booked B&B Basil to visit Maasmechelen Outlet Village. It’s realy close. After a day shopping it’s ideal to go back to this wonderful tranquil place! The rooms are cozy and perfectly clean. I should come back in summer to enjoy even more the garden with swimming pool. Breakfast was wonderfull. Loved the homemade  jam! Also had dinner across the street in one of the best restaurants in the area. Definitely will stay again!

Perfect place and very close to Maasmechelen Outlet Village

Amazing family-run B&B. Every room is unique and the garden is very nice (you can swim with fish!). Sara is a superhost and both Sara and Mark have a great sense of humour (which should not be a suprise as every room is equipped with a Fawlty Towers boxset, hence the name Basil). Do ask Mark for tips on local beers if you're a beer enthusiast!

Amazing family-run B&B

A very nice b and b in a quiet setting in Leut, perfect location to do some bike routes, the room we had was the smallest but for one night this was fine, you can use the garden with a swimming pond. The honesty bar is something every b & b should have, this is really nice to have a drink whenever you want.

With the charm of a B&B and rooms so comfortable and stylish that you only rarely find in a hotel this place combines the best of both hotels and B&B's. The cozy common area and the great garden complete the package to be just perfect. 
The owners even let us have our meeting at the place and offered our business partner a coffee - nice!

Best of both worlds

Stayed at the Basil early April 2016 on a work related trip. 
The Basil is located in a beautiful, peaceful yet well connected part of town. Travelling solo, my room was perfect for me - extremely well maintained on a daily, awesome view, wifi, flatscreen tv, table to do my work on etc etc. All I could possibly ask for was there.
Breakfast in the morning was excellent.
The kind blonde lady who runs the place was very warm and welcoming on my first day. The service she and the Basil provided was no less than exceptional. For example, breakfast was usually served @ around 8 am 'ish every morning. However, I used to depart everyday at 6:45 am, meaning I would miss breakfast. This lady was kind enough to pack me a breakfast beforehand so that I could take it with me as I commuted in the morning. Another example would be Saturdays where the first bus came at 8:00 am yet I needed to be at my work place at 8:00am. What was I to do? I asked this lady if she could organize a cab/taxi for me for Saturday mornings commute. She actually took time out of her morning to personally drive me to my location. Even on my last day when I needed to get dropped to the station (since my 5 day bus travelcard had expired), no cab/taxi/1 day bus ticket needed - hotel personally dropped me off. That to me is brilliant service.
In summation, I would highly highly recommend this establishment. I can't think of anything that could/would have made my experience any better. As the title says, it was Simply Perfect!
