This hotel is located 2-3 kms outside of Malmedy and is not visible from the main road. My wife and I were the only guests in this beautifully decorated 18C mansion. We were given a suite.
Quality and abundant breakfast was served in a gorgeous dining room fit for royalty.
The owner/manager is a very friendly lady.
The price? 170 euros.

Treated like royalty in an 18C mansion

This is a unique hotel.  The host is marvelous, and has thought of every detail.  She is kind and friendly.  The interior spaces are very aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and beautifully presented.  Everything was perfect.  We are looking forward to our next visit.

Madison Geron was amazing!  The house itself is worth going in to.  The home is filled with crystal, silver and all sorts of neat accessories.  Our room had stunning furniture in it...the bed was so comfortable!  The grounds around the home were amazing....flowers, green grass, topiaries....even sheep next door spoke to us when we walked close.....wonderful.  And the breakfast?  Wow!  Salmon, quail eggs...over the top in such a beautiful setting.  We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

A fabulous find in Malmedy

My husband and I stayed in an "attic room" in maison Geron on Saturday the 22nd of October 2016. It was delightful. I felt like I was in a fairytale! If you like romantic quirky places to stay, look no further. The lady of the house is reserved and discreet, but also very welcoming and friendly. This house is her life's passion, and it shows. I have never been in a house with such attention to original detail and atmosphere.The gardens are also beautifully maintained and a treat to look at (and sit in if you're there in spring or summer). The breakfast is served in two adjoining rooms and is delicious and healthy. Again lots of personal touches from the lady of the house, including a poached quail egg served an an amuse bouche! The house is 1,5km from Malmedy town, perfect to walk or drive. Guests can dine in the gourmet restaurant across from Maison Geron, or walk into the village where there are lots of restaurants for every budget and taste. We'll definitely be back, as this place alone is worth driving to Malmedy for!

The most delightful Bed and Breakfast in the Ardennes!

We have booked the hotel for 2 adults and a child - 0 years (baby 4 months). Our reservation was accepted. Once we arrived we understood that babies and small children are not accepted. Initially we thought the space may be the problem  - not enough in the rooms for a baby cot or something like that, but it turned out that the main problem for the owner is that babies and small children cry and disturb her guests with the noise they do. We were very disappointed (on a Friday evening 19:30h, outside was raining, our small child, who traveled 3hrs to reach the property was hungry and tired). No exception was possible.
