Beautiful area, lovely rooms and excellent and very attentive service, including nice  little extras in the room.  Excellent dinner and great breakfast. The spa area is a little small but nice. It’s a little expensive but we (4 adults, 4 kids) had a great time.

Very nice, great service

I experienced an absolutely enchanting weekend at Château de Vignée. The restaurant treated us to a mesmerizing 8-course dinner, undoubtedly the pinnacle of our culinary experiences.

What heightened the magic was the wine cellar adorned with 250 candles and roses, creating the perfect ambiance for me to propose to my wife. This special moment was impeccably facilitated by the dedicated staff and management of Château de Vignée. Our gratitude knows no bounds.

Every detail was meticulously planned; both managers and the head chef were present during the proposal, capturing the moment on film to share with us later.

The hotel generously upgraded us to a junior suite, where our belongings were elegantly arranged, and two roses adorned our bed. Even during breakfast the next day, the staff congratulated us with champagne, adding to the overall charm.

Our stay transcended mere memorability; we've never felt as cherished and valued in our relationship. The exceptional hospitality and service from the highly skilled staff make Château de Vignée a heartfelt recommendation for anyone seeking an unforgettable experience. Five stars fall short in capturing the true magic of our time there.

I remain profoundly grateful to the staff and management whose dedication made the proposal uniquely special—an experience I could not have achieved without them.

Magical and memorable

Very nice hotel with one of the best restaurants in Belgium,  Arden. The hotel has a small but lovely spa and excellent service. From some of the rooms you have a nice view on the river.  The hotel is located near the exit of the E411.

Great experience 

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful hotel. Our room was very nice, the common spaces very cosy and we add a special note for the fantastic dinner we had at the restaurant Arden. Congrats to the whole team !

Perfect

We experienced the perfect getaway. We were warmly welcomed (in Dutch, not perfect but a surplus for us as flemmish guests) and were offered a welcome drink. While enjoying our drinks the luggage was carried to our room. Before dinner we went to the wellness. Unfortunately the hammam was out of order for some reason but we enjoyed the pool and sauna with superb view on the Lesse river. The diner in bistro Le Castor Fou was excellent. The next morning the landscape was covered with snow. The staff already made the paths outside free so we could safely walk to our breakfast. Also the breakfast was excellent  and there was a lot of choise. Overall the perfect getaway for us. We will go back to experience the Arden restaurant also a next time. 

Perfect getaway

Marvellous stay.  Cosy rooms.  Good shower. Caudalie products! Very friendly staff.  They take you to your room.  Great surrounding.  Breakfast was so good. Pancakes and omelets could be ordered.  Before dinner we got a mocktail.  Very good stay!!

Very friendly - elegant - fantastic kitchen

The hotel us very clean .The staff is extreemly helpful and so very kind !
The food in the resto and the bistro is great . 
The breakfast is poor and when you arrive at 10.00 you have to take what is left , no refill.
The location of the hotel has one extreem negative point The hotel is located at 50m from the highway at some point the noise is so  extreemly overwhelming  and terribly disruptive that you want to leave . And you hear the noise at every spot even in your room with windows closed .

What a beautiful, refined and charming place this is ! 
The dinner we had at the gastronomic restaurant was absolutely divine and they have an increditble choice of fantastic wines.  Try to visit the truly unique wine cellar if you go !
Breakfast was just perfect and the rooms were pleasant and well equipped.
Staff very friendly and available.
And the treatments we had at the spa were very amazing.
We will definitely be back !

Fantastic experience !

Top place to stay and definately one of the best restuarants of the region. With Han Sur Lesse and Dinant closeby, there is plenty to do while the hotel itself is just top: very ne rooms (with view on the Lesse), very friendely and helpful staff, swinning pool + welness in the hotel, lots of parking with 3 place to charge a (PH)EV, authetic building with modern touches make it a very nice building, ....  Not cheap but what they offer is top.
