Very nice house with welcome glass (the Peace of God is delicious), quiet and very well located place (Ronquières festival), cozy rooms, parking available and good breakfast.

The house is charming, the rooms are comfortable and the hospitality is perfect. We spent two nights there at a friend's wedding and recommend to all who pass by in the corner to stop by: it's worth the visit.

It's a great reception.

Have stayed here a few times now as we have friends in the village. I would recomend it for its space, traditional style and cleanliness. The owners are very accomodating and are always willing to host our friends when they visit and provide refreshments.
Im sure we will stay many more times.

We were warmly welcomed into this very beautiful family home, where several generations have been together. (gardener paper, charming young mother, a happy young dad and a little wonder named Leah) We felt at home there, it's what we rarely call the house of happiness! A very nice garden, with donkeys, sheep, lamb, cats in the house... We occupied a room with 2 beds and the bunk bed was perfect. Private bathroom with bathtub, dry shower available as well as soft gel, shampoo, soap for the kids, cotton discs and tight shower, toilet in a room leading to the back.

Family home

The hotel/B&B is in an idylic situation. You are woken up (not too early!) to the sound of sheep and the resident donkey. The double room we had was large and airy, as was the bathroom, though the decoration could be a little twee for some. The owner is very friendly and cheerful, and the breakfast (cold) was plentiful and of good quality. All in all a very pleasant short stay.

Lovely hotel in a picturesque village

Mrs. Marchand and her father welcome you home with impeccable service and well-maintained rooms. The lack of competition makes the price a little high but the result is at the level of the expected quality.

A friendly and caring welcome.

A great room is a large room, very clean and nice, which is pleasant on such trips, as well as a large bathroom, which is extremely unusual for European hotels.

Excellent price-quality ratio

Beautiful building in Belgian classical style, with garden, brick walls also painted with interiors very similar to the Italian country houses of the early nineteenth century. Overall it feels a healthy feeling of almost homely countryside, of course the advice is to ask for the double spring room that has the bathroom (large and with double sinks) with private toilets, not in common with others and a third bed for any children or boys.

B&B in late 18th century style

We stayed here for one night while visiting friends in the area. 

The El Tyu is a guesthouse or b&b, running a number of chambres d'hôte. It is located in the small town of Ecaussinnes which has three or four cafés and restaurants and a few small shops - a nice place to walk around, with a castle that's worth a short visit if you have the time.

We had booked a double room with a bathroom for 80 euros, which I had thought a bit on the expensive side for a b&b, but now in retrospect I find quite appropriate for the quality of the room and service.

The house is very pleasant, with a large breakfast room, a television room and mini-kitchenette available, and a lovely terrace and garden out back. Our bedroom was spacious, with a large comfortable bed, and a bathroom with shower-curtained tub, two sinks, and plenty of hot water. The place was quiet and impeccably clean.

Service was helpful without being invasive. On arrival we were welcomed with a drink and explanations about the b&b. In the morning we found a table set out for our breakfast in the downstairs room, but when we asked to have out breakfast out on the terrace this posed no problem and an outside table was quickly wiped down and set up.

Very happy with our choice here, and I'm sure we'll be back if we need a room again in Ecaussinnes.
