A very beautiful discovery in the Belgian Ardennes that we did not know about, on the occasion of the SPA CLASSIC! Staying together with our Corvette... Lovely family, empathetic and simple welcome from Susan (and her husband and daughters). We stayed in the annex, which allows us to be a little away without being far away. A delicious hotel table on the evening of our arrival, a delicious breakfast every morning of our stay, and a friendly and friendly atmosphere as we love them!

We got here with a WonderBox. The hostess is super friendly. The place is old-fashioned. The bed is very clean and very comfortable. Our breakfast is very tasty and our taste. We had dinner on the terrace of the hotel next door and we were delighted 😊

Rest after gravel

We recently visited Le Randonneur for the first time, on a weekend away in the Ardennes and Hautes Fagnes, a region where we love walking. From the moment we arrived, despite being an hour earlier than the official check-in time, the owners proved entirely welcoming, and helpful. They helped us identify trails where we could walk directly, and for hours, setting off from the hotel itself. Our room was spacious, very quiet, and we opted to "dine in". How glad we were that we did! The dinner was extremely good! "Steak Frites" was the menu--a risky proposition given how well this is done in so many places in Belgium, but, Wow!, everything about the meal was GREAT! Delicious soup, steak done to perfection, outstandingly good frites, homemade, and the best "sauce poivres vertes" I have ever had; savoury, exceptionally creamy and flavourful, and topped off with a tasty, very fresh, salad, and local brew, on tap. After a good night's sleep (on this very cold and windy and rainy night, the excellent heating in the room was much appreciated) we were treated to an ample, delicious, breakfast, including cheeses, meats, breads, rolls, croissants, butter and jam, whole-grain cereals, fresh orange juice, and good coffee. As you may have guessed, we are looking forward to our next visit! Thank you for being such generous, kind, and helpful, hosts!

Cozy, quiet, accommodation, delicious dining!

We had two days to spend in the Ardennes and we had chosen two places to sleep. The first night we were at the Randonneur. 79 euros for the night it is expensive compared to the old place. Small old rooms, tiny bathroom. This price does not include breakfast which is at 9.50 E per person. The evening meal was fine without more, we are told that it is a guest table but not at all. Everything is appetizer at 4.50 a glass of wine at 3.50 (and frankly not rather terrible stain).

Excessive Benefits

The menu offered for the Bongo was more than satisfactory and quite consistent. The managers were friendly and available for information about the surroundings.

Family atmosphere

Nice old style rooms, but very dark. Very friendly owners.
Some little defaults: we had 2 rooms (for 5 persons) and both showers drained very slowly, so you had to stop taking your shower very early. Small bathrooms, very basic.
Breakfast very classic, would have liked some healthier food options. Only whole fat milk, whole fat yoghourt, children's cereals only (no healthier muesli or bran options), etc.
One morning short in this, other morning short in that.... 'no choco Nutella spread left' for children, etc....

We found this tavern after a wonderful walk in the Hoegne valley, very friendly place, the bosses are very welcoming, the prices are very correct, restaurant very well located, no problem with the dogs

It's a nice place

Ideally located for nature lovers, very warm home, family atmosphere, perfect lunch, quiet and nature at the appointment, ballet along the Hoegne, Spa, Longfaye, fagne, Bayehon...

Very warm welcome, family atmosphere

We traveled as a documentary film crew in August 2014 and stayed here and loved out time here very much. We had two rooms with five adults and one senior. It was centrally located to our location and they made us a wonderful breakfast in the morning and provided great conversation in the evening. We really enjoyed the comfy lounge area.

We loved our stay.

The rooms are clean and the beds are very clean.The small bathroom, integrated into the bedroom, has no separate door.The meals are excellent and cozy.The setting is pleasant, quiet at night and invites you to explore the environment.
