We had a great stay at La Meteria. The reception was warm. The rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The boss was at the stove, feeding us delicious little dishes made with local and seasonal products. A real pleasure for our eyes and papillae. Thank you and we will be back with great pleasure.

We spent 2 nights in the upper room No. 7 in the renovated part. Rdc with view & access to the beautiful back garden. Very nice spacious room, nice lighting, clean and very good bedding. Large Sdb with toilet, sink and Italian shower. Just two remarks, there is a small fridge and a door to the SDB to preserve its intimidation.

All right, but...

At the top of the Wanne coast, we stayed for two days in a beautiful, refurbished room (No. 7) large enough to dine on a large, comfortable table. COVID guidelines are very well followed. The location is ideal for various activities. Soundproofing is perfect. We also had a good meal and breakfast is very tasty and varied.

Very nice building renovated

We spent one night in La Métairie during the Covid period. Everything is very well organized with respect to sanitary measures. We felt safe. The hotel is warm, friendly and professional. The rooms are very clean, well equipped. We had dinner, served in the room, everything was excellent, well presented. The breakfast is varied. Stay really very pleasant in this difficult time. I would recommend without hesitation!

Discovered during the COVID period

2 nights at the Meteriaire in the small village of Wanne which is part of the Three Bridges entity. Room quite large, very clean, good bed. Due to COVID, the restaurant room was not accessible but we were served in the room. Lunch very satisfying as we wished. We have 2 dinners 3 services, very good quality and all with a lot of professionalism.

Weekend in Wanne at the Metère

We were in Belgium for the Formula 1, and had looked for somewhere that was within driving distance but which was also in a quiet location. This hotel ticked both boxes very well, as we were just 15 minutes from the circuit but also in the centre of a tranquil and picturesque village.
Our hosts were friendly and attentive, the food was imaginative, well cooked and attractively presented. The room was modern, light and airy, the bed really comfortable and a really nice bathroom/shower. 
We have never really considered exploring Belgium before, but after seeing the historical charm of Stavelot, and enjoying this hotel, we will be back, for sure.

Could not have been better.

A table that deserves it. It must be found in the small village of Wanne. We arrived there by chance and we ate super well! The reception was really warm. A moment of pure happiness! The price is very competitive for a great menu! We did not stay in the inn.

It's a very good table.

We had dinner there because the hotel that hosted us didn't have a restaurant that night. Very good find. All the tables set up outside because the weather is very nice. A monthly menu for 37€, very good, very good presentation, wines at very affordable prices. The service is a little slow to our taste.

Restaurant only

The place is peaceful, in a nice village near Stavelot. The hostess's welcome is exceptional, the room is spacious, sober and clean, the bed is very comfortable and we slept like loungers. A bottle of water, tea and coffee are available in the room. The breakfast is very good, varied and reconstituted discreetly. The eggs are prepared and served on demand. The restaurant was discreet in the evening, so we couldn't eat there, but next time we will reserve a table, because there will be a little next time! Possibility of very nice walks around, a taste of a holiday...

Luxurious hostel, quiet and very friendly

A very nice and authentic little hotel where we were immediately welcomed; very warm welcome; very caring owners! Very well moved and decorated with great taste. Very comfortable rooms. Successful cuisine thanks to the owner's ovens and high-quality products! The Metarairie is a haven of peace surrounded by a very beautiful nature. We will return!
