The hotel is in the middle of nature with no neighbours on the horizon. A bit of an eccentric setting, ideal for rest and relaxation. The entrance hall is welcoming and cozy. The decoration is in line with the hotel's seal. The lady who hosted us was very sweet and laid-back. We opted for a family room with large beds (2 nights). What a special setting for the literature that was +++++ and the King size beds. A few pleasures of sleeping in comfortable beds with quality sheets! We found the room was a large and spacious bathroom, cleaned as we like. The bathroom with 2 basins, a chalet, a douche and smoke products.

Bucolic and pleasant frame

Gereserveerd voor 9 personen. De opgediende zalm met tagliatelle bleek koud in half gaar te zijn. Met name of tagliatelle was beneden elk maat. Na reclamatie gingen de bordjes terug naar de keuken in kwamen opgewarmd (magnetron?) weer terug. Echter de tagliatelle was nog steeds te taai om te eten! Reserved for 9 people. Salmon served with tagliatelle turned out to be cold and half cooked. tagliatelle in particular were below average. Following a claim, the plates were returned to the kitchen and were heated back (microwave?). tagliatels were still too soft to eat!

Idyllic setting, perfect environment, convenient and convenient parking. In terms of the room, the literature is super comfortable, the wifi is present in the room, the room is very spacious and well organised. The breakfast is good and well prepared.

It's a beautiful frame.

This hotel is quaint, quiet and clean. The owner was gracious and so kind. I think we were the only ones staying here and she still made us dinner!  They have a trout pond so fish could not be any fresher. The hotel had beautiful flowers. You could here a stream from our room. There is no better white noise!

Best kept secret

Very nice location.  We spent one night with two kids in a family room.  The room was very large, clean and fresh.  We had a great dinner (very nice menu) with fish as specialty (the fishes Truites were taken out off the water a few minutes before being served on table).  The location was really calm (in a small valley, close to a small river and being surrounded by trees) … we did not have the opportunity to do a walk but I guess it’s a great place to walk, to bike etc…. The woman in charge was really nice with the guests (and the children), she offered different menus dedicated to our two childs (5 and 6).  Laforêt is close to very beautiful villages like Rochehaut (with lots of activities to do), Vresse-s-Semois, Frahan ….

Small river, forest, nice people and calm …

Idyllic frame, superb hospitality, fabulous dishes and damn ice cream. Everything is homemade, fries and even ice cream, chocolate and fresh cream. Very clean room and nice Italian shower. The park around is resting. We'll be back safely.

I don't understand the comments I'm reading, but I think the opinions of old people who have nothing to do but to roar really recommend!

It's a beautiful place.

We decided to spend the night as a family in the family room. It is spacious, clean, the bed is of very good quality. We had digital TV with many channels and an excellent WiFi reception. In accordance with the current legislation, we received the evening meal (menu of 3 dishes) in the room as well as the generous breakfast. The kitchen is good and with regional products. So it is a very positive experience.

Very pleasant stay

Perfect location. Absolutely quiet. Lovely sunny terrace. The comfortable room is spacious and very pleasant (a special mention for the bedding). The absence of a TV is not a disadvantage (on the contrary!). The staff is friendly and alert (wearing a mask, safety distances). The restaurant is of a good standard.

A very pleasant stay in the heart of the Laforest

Nice frame, beautiful, quiet in the middle of nature. - The manager announces breakfast on Friday 10/07 to 14/07/20. - Room not very clean (sheep under the bed, approximate housekeeping, in addition to the current context covid19.... it's very average). Matelas a little too hard for our taste. - Problem of draining fruit from the shower water (see photos after 2 showers). - The manager announces breakfast between 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. and the day you arrive at 9:50 a.m. - She makes a reminder and asks you to arrive earlier the next time. - No shower or shampoo products (there was also a small container of fresh fruit at the table)
